question: one of the springs is not tight on my unit because one of the two tiny screws appears to be stripped - there's no resistance when I attempted to tighten it with a precision screwdriver. As a result my vapman has become a little wobbly when put together. Are there replacement screws I could get for a repair or should I replace the spring itself? Has anyone experience this and fixed it? Thanks!
I think piece of a toothpick and a drop of wood glue usually works for stripped wood holes in other settings. You may want to use a razor blade to make the tooth pick thinner and no glue in the hole to see if that helps. And/or use wood glue if you think it won't off gas and/or be in the air path.

Anyone know if the gold plated crucibles are replaceable? Can’t find one online and mine has some scratches. Kinda concerned about the copper being exposed and wanted to replace it.
Yes, the new version can be replaced by the user, but you'd need to contact Vapman to purchase it.

Though, Rene (the inventor) did say that the gold plating was more for aesthetics, than practical use. So there's no loss in efficiency without the gold.

There's no reason to be concerned about the copper, from a health perspective. Copper isn't harmful at the temperatures achieved with butane.

The answer to this question, which nobody seems to have actually answered, is 'probably not'. Unless your unit is quite new, the hole in the wooden body is too small. The pan and 3 legs are captive, having been assembled 'in place' (from the top and bottom) before the tubes are crimped in place. The latest production has a larger hole, should you find a place to buy one you can remove the 3 clamp screws and drop the assembly out the bottom.

But, as others have said there seems to be no risk with the 'bare copper'. After all you eat food cooked in copper pans, right?

Mines gotta be a newer one. Just got it a few days ago. I’ve taken the pan out once at the beginning to clean and wipe before first use. Rather ingenious design. Very impressed. Looking at getting another or a Swiss made one. I missed the apple run :(.

I wanted to post on here just incase people hadn't heard or were on the fence.
I received my beta simrell condenser unit yesterday and used it a bit and wanted to share my notes with everyone.
It looks fantastic and is built really well. It doesn't quite fit the swiss models correctly and leaves a bit of a gap. I've shared with with simrell so not sure if it's something they will address, they will either need to shave down the condenser unit or put a notch in it for the center oven post. Closing the air holes off is nice. I will say the main negative about it is it acts as sort of a heat sink. I am guessing the metal is just to close to the oven and really absorbs heat so the mouthpiece ends up getting pretty warm.
All in all I'd say it's a luxury add on that looks fantastic but is not really necessary unless you really want to block those air holes internally.

I have 3 Swiss models and it fits the middle pieces just right. Ash, Pear, and Walnut. I don't have the gap you are talking about. I do have to spin and push to get it in the Swiss models. It slides right in my Italian. Is it possible your middle piece filter is slightly bent in?

I think I was using the wrong terminology. I have a couple pictures. I dont know what the proper terms are, but the little twisty piece is pretty much flush with my screen whenever thing is pressed in snug. As soon as I attach it pushes the whole thing up a bit creating the gap.
Wow, you ain't kiddin'. My Swiss mades don't have the logo on the side, so they are newer than yours. Maybe the dimensions changed at some point. You could try putting an Oring to fill in that gap.

It'll eventually go on a new Italian one when it arrives. I could probably bend or cut a notch in the little spiral cooling thing and it would fit fine. I'm going to give it a try without the cooling unit and see how it goes

I was watching the Simrell instagram live and he was showing the Vapman condenser unit. He was putting the spiral intercooler in the other end where the mouthpiece goes. He put the intercooler in and then put the mouthpiece on over it. I was thinking about your issue when he was showing that. I was putting my intercooler in the bottom of it. I tried it and it has a lot more room from the condenser to the metal filter. Try it if you haven't already.

I had mine like that at first but then I saw others not like that and was assuming I was doing it wrong.

Dear Vapmaniacs, dear friends.

We know that many of you have been waiting for the release of the new power stations for a very long time. We are so thankful for your patience. You have our word: we're really working hard to make the new power stations available soon and for a reasonable price.

In the meantime, we have five power stations left from René's production. These stations have been sitting around in our warehouse for a while; we simply never had the heart to let them go.

But the moment has arrived. These power stations would be better off in the hands of some caring owners that can really make the most of them.

We only have five stations, and there are many of you. Unsure of how to proceed in order to choose the lucky owners, we thought of doing an auction on Instagram. If you'd like to participate, please visit our IG https://www.instagram.com/vapman_official/?hl=es where you will find the terms of the auction.

Here's the Vapman team wishing you all a peaceful day and many dank bowls.

Well I think I found my sweet spot on this baby. Finally dialed in my heating technique and timing for satisfying flavor hits.

Made me lean back while savoring the flavor of some Blood Orange and Panama Red this morning.
A truly powerful machine for good for sure. And versatile at the same time. Since you (we) control the heat a host of techniques are available to suit your taste, long term or as they chang. The same machine, torch and load can give mild, flavor filled hits or massive clouds (considering the small load size) depending on technique. I've always recommended 'don't be too shy with the heat' as you explore the possibilities. Combustion is rare and easy to avoid since you need to draw air in through the tubes to support it. If you sense the 'burnt popcorn taste and stop drawing, instantly combustion stops and all you get is a spoiled load.....and if you're quick enough even that might not happen.

And the device itself is a work of art, and cute as the dickens to those in the know.

Congratulations.

Regards to all.
