The new Vapman Custom Shop is open!
I'm not even in the market at the moment. Browsing that beautiful olive grain is just good times!

I had an epiphany today! High quality loose kief is just about the perfect material for the vapman+sieve. At around 30-45% cannabinoids, kief as opposed to pressed hash is easier to place on the vapman sieve. It's also so much easier to clean up than full-melt varieties. I take off the midsection while it's still hot, the turn the body over and tap it against my table, the spent kief powder comes out easily with basically no need to scrape or brush residue.

try it! I bet you like it ;)

Today’s the day friends. Vapman out for delivery. Been using a Dynavap for years but something new tonight hopefully. Still in awe that I ordered it Sat from Italy and it’s out for delivery in Va today. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten things from Dynavap in Wisconsin this fast much less a country across the pond.

Enjoy. I definitely support the tip to adjust your torch flame length to match the diameter of the mouthpiece screen. I do 4-5 seconds, pause for 5 secs, then another 4 sec before first hit. Then 4-5 sec is sufficient from there on out.

Awesome! Appreciate the help, not waiting for a click will be the interesting part. I’m excited for truly manual work and experiment with all the different ways to toke.

question: one of the springs is not tight on my unit because one of the two tiny screws appears to be stripped - there's no resistance when I attempted to tighten it with a precision screwdriver. As a result my vapman has become a little wobbly when put together. Are there replacement screws I could get for a repair or should I replace the spring itself? Has anyone experience this and fixed it? Thanks!

Hey guys, I have the pure and love it. Very manual compared to the Dynavap which is already manual.

My question is, is it worth trying to keep the char down? I’m pretty consistent with tip-to-tip on a smaller flame but I notice the residual heat is causing some browning. Is it inevitable? No biggie just curious if it’s my technique. Thanks in advance.

Inevitable. The charring serves as a natural heat shield and will stop at one point with no harm done. I prefer to use the basic / pure with the station, for aesthetical reasons. Some find the charring pretty though and that is a valid point as well.

if your screwhole is screwed, changing the screw wont help. you could try bending the spring to make it work with only one or glueing in the second one, but your best chance is getting a replacement body with proper screwholes

I don't have a vapman and haven't even seen one in person, however, if the existing hole is big enough to shove a matchstick into you might be able to repair the body. Just fill the enlarged hole with a matchstick or two shortened to length, this should give the screw something to grip onto again, at least in the short term.

Can't agree more. I don't own a vapman, but I've found this to be true with vaping in general.

It's funny because I used to put in so much effort trying to refine sift to be full melt when that doesn't necessarily help for our application.
