Yes my herbs are mostly resinous and sticky maybe the reason why...With the click system I don't want to try some hazardous cleaning.

I think those stains are normal and will happen no matter how often you clean. My Cherry Click had similar stains after just one week of usage even though I always clean the pan with a q-tip while hot. Might just be natural discoloration of the pan material. Either way I think it's nothing to worry about.

Well I clean it when it's hot too with alcohol, the pan is always golden and shiny but the flat bottom gets darker but this Vapman gets me exclatly where I want to be, I'm maybe a bit too house proud : )

My click has staining like that on the bottom silver click disc part also. I feel like I've seen pictures or videos with less stained ones, but it's hard to tell if it's actually less stained or if there's still enough light reaching the reflective metal to make it look shiny at the right angles. My theory would be that it's related to heating technique if there are some used but still shiny ones out there. I like to go slow and low temp with the Vapman. Maybe going higher temp earlier for fewer heatings helps to prevent the staining.

We maybe have the beginning of a solution because I also go slow and low temp. I had never been past the 3 secs after the click. But I only used it less than 10 times and only with dry herb.

I usually only take one Vapman with me on hikes but I often feel a little bad that the others just sit there and almost never make it out of the house (very anthropomorphic of me, I know) so this time I took the gang out, and hit a bowl of CBD in all of them along the way.

for my part, I'm sharing a piece of my new tray... it's a little more comfortable!!



on another note, I sent my station back two months ago for an upgrade... it got lost in the mail and (following an unfortunate misunderstanding with the postman) I don't have a tracking number...
i really hope it reappears... it's (very) expensive for the misunderstanding otherwise...

oh and... record snowfall in Montreal...

yeah...

when I finally decided to return my station from the first batch that was heating too slowly (5 seconds after turning green)... it was the end of a strike at post canada...
it's been 2 months and a day since I sent it back 😬

but this story about no follow-up sucks and I'm half responsible for it so... to be continued!

I just purchased four beautiful wood mouth pieces from Rogue...he only has the acrylic on display on the website. But, if you contact him he has a few woods left.

There was even a gorgeous cocobolo left that got sold. He usually has them...you just have to ask.
