Vapman

To specify my question: is it hard getting the Temperaturen right every time? Even If im in the cold outside? With the Dynavap and torch it is still a hustle sometimes, with years of experience.

So i do count the Seconds, right? But what about If the outside temp is low? I need to figure Out every time or is the Bowl not as sensitive to temp changes as the Dynavap?

I don't really count but I've been using the vapman for a looong time...
When I go low temp I just under heat (short flame and short heating time). I sometimes do the whole sesh without seeing much visible vapor (which is how I gauge temperature). If I'm getting too much visible vapor then I will heat less on the next cycle. As I said a few pages back I like riding the visible vapor line rather than the combustion line.

Of course when it's cold outside vapor will always be very visible, even at low temps. All in all it's just about practice. The more you use it the more precise you will be at maintaining your preferred temperature. There is a learning curve.

A follow up to my question: I ended up purchasing some wood cutting board wax. It worked perfectly! Here is a link to the one I got:

It's a mix of mineral oil and beeswax which is what people here recommended. It could definitely be homemade for cheaper, but this works well if you're lazy!

I highly recommend treating the cherry, it looks so much more refined after.

I Like to vape at temps between 140°C -150°C (284-302°F). Ist that doable with the vapman on a constant basis?
I read about the click version but understand that the click is around 180°C . So a vapman click wouldnt bring me further as im only vaping at lower temps, right?
Happy about your opinion about this Guys.
The station temp is 160C at the lowest setting.
