Station first impressions...
Shipping was insanely quick (3 days) in the US, and I placed my order on the
weekend. Packaging was great as well, keeping it for storage / moving.
Given this is a factory second unit, I can't see anything wrong with it. It looks
great. My only nitpick is the dial has a little bit of 'un-smoothness' to it when turning. A little surprising, but not a big deal at all.
Heat up is fast. At level 4, it was kind of like a light torch session and was a 10 minute sesh tops. Level 7 and 9 are much quicker extractors and a super even conduction roast. Far better than my torch skills at the moment.
The temperature system is so nice. I have an induction heater for my Dynavaps and this is more enjoyable to use. Set Vapman on it, watch lights to know when it's at temperature. This can make for a quicker session if you're hitting it as soon as it's ready or you can take your time with it.
The Vapman
and Station heat up nicely during the session to maximize efficiency. Didn't come close to combusting.
I was a little concerned about the fit between the Vapman and the heater from what I had read earlier in the thread, but it was no issue. My v1 Italian Olive seats perfectly, no adjusting needed. Glass mouthpiece is my favorite to use with it.
I also really like that it's so self contained. I feel like I can relax more than when I have a ball vape out with a super hot exposed coil.
With the reduced price I got this for (Factory 2nds + sale),
10/10 purchase. I'll still use the torch from time to time, but since I vape exclusively at home, the Station is just too easy. It capitalizes on the Vapman's
efficiency and ups the consistency for me.
I hope this helps anyone else that obsessively reads threads like I do to validate a purchase!
TLDR: Ya, it's really good. Have a great weekend
