I try to write it down for you guys some day
i am really looking forward to this. i was just thinking the other day that i should really get another vapman. i dont know how this happens exactly? i never had this impulse with any other vaporiser. but it does seem to be a thing, lots of people here have larger (+1) vapman collections. but why?
it doesnt really matter i suppose, and for me it wont happen anytime soon, but my impulse is to rather get a v1, swiss or italian while they are still available. from what i have read about the v2 so far i think i would like it less, but i am open and happy to let my mind be changed - the v2 would really be easier to justifie :) anyway. still loving my vapman lots. so much so it inspires a need to procreate it seems.

Unregulated Tendencies
One for grass, one for hash. Switching out a gunky concentrate screen is surprisingly painful. Wood porn is also a thing.

I’ve been on the fence between a second Vapman or a first Tempest and I’m honestly a little surprised that I’m leaning hard toward another Vapman.

What sealed it was (finally) taking out the concentrate screen and using my Classic for flower the last couple of weeks. It’s just a joy to use.

I've been going a bit back and forth, which is why I wanted to hear how others on here feel. But I must say that I agree with @coolbreeze that the V2, while still keeping the VM signature intact, is noticeably different from the others. A bit more industrial with slightly less soul IMO.

On the plus side, it feels a little more "complete" as a vaporizer when you can keep the vapor path hygienic with better and easier cleaning. And the fact that it runs hotter seems to make the first one or two hits have denser vapor. This can give you a more balanced layover between "terptown" and "cloudville".

However, I feel like there is a small flavor reduction overall with the V2. I assume it's the inlay that causes this. (Maybe a future glass edition would mitigate this?) I also don't seem to get quite as many hits per bowl - again, probably due to it running hotter. Not really a big deal though.

All in all, it's still a Vapman... you can't go too wrong.

Edit: I forgot one thing that could be either positive or negative depending on personal preference, and that's the new air intake design. It gives you more control but makes it difficult to properly use the longer glass mouthpiece.

I believe I've heard that material safety should be kept separately from the main thread, so I don't want to start a big discussion on here. But I randomly came across an article about copper in cookware, which naturally made me think about how we wok our "vegetables" in our Vapmen.

The clear consensus nowadays is that copper can only be seen as safe for cooking when it's lined with a non-reactive metal. But while the Vapman bowl is of course gold plated, I actually found an official Vapman post where it was stated that this was mainly for looks and that the Vapman would be just as safe to use without it.

So are the potential risks associated with copper different when vaping compared to cooking?

René's safety explanation seems to highlight the fact that copper as a material has stood the test of time, rather than to differentiate vaping from cooking.

So while I absolutely trust the Vapman team when it comes to creating safe vaporizers, I guess I'm just a bit confused about exactly why copper is a complete non-issue here; is it the gold plating that's protecting us from the copper, or is the copper actually safe in itself for the intended purpose?

Clearing this up would also help decide the significance of a scratch or natural wear and tear in the bowl.

I hope this subject doesn't trigger anyone's health anxiety btw. Happy vaping everyone! :sherlock:

There are OSHA regulations that protect plumbers delineating how much is safe to breathe and I assume we are well below those limits by any stretch; I think they generally are, too. But these are assumptions based on the lack of hue and cry over poisoned plumbers--I am not a (hard) scientist.

Glass Blower
I own more than one Vapman as I couldn’t be without one. Better safe than sorry.

Also re-copper. When vaporised copper fumes are incredibly toxic (can collapse a lung) but this is coming from a glass blower where you are literally vaporising large chunks of the metal. The amount that would come off when soldering pluming is minute, the amount you could realistically get off a vapman with a mini torch is probably unmeasurable even over a lifetime of use.

Good morning!

Went visiting and got 'Venus', my V1 Olive, back! I've been missing this VM with its spectacular Venutian Volcanoes:

This beauty is also great on the station (and waterpipe): for whatever reason it's a warm one so the hits are rich and full. Even moreso with the V2 midsection.

Gorgeous!

I've been away from home for the last month or so, and I'm very happy with my choice to bring my little olive vapman along. It's been serving me beautifully. You can't beat a coffee + a vap bowl in the morning I reckon :)

I love coffee and Vapman too...nothing like it. It is a micro dose that kicks my butt. Same herb goes in all of my vapes...but, when it goes into the Vapman it takes me to the depths of space...I have no idea why Vapman gets me high as fuck always. I mean that in a great way...and I use like a tiny tiny TINY pinch of herb. GO FIGURE...no idea.
