Vapman

passenger

is this thing on?
Yes, as it is gold coated, it is possible to scratch it off if you use metal to scrape the wok clean. That needs some effort to do so though! But even if the gold stays on, it will get scratches. You can use a wooden toothpick for scratching and that's pretty safe. If you scrape all gold off and expose the copper core, it is said here many times by the maker that it is not a health concern. In fact the first Vapmans came without the gold coating, plain copper, the coating was only added later to make it look gorgeous.

How many vaps could a Vapman vap…
thank you passenger! that is a very thorough answer, i appreciate it. has it ever happened to anyone / is it possible that the gold covering the heater gets damaged & could expose the copper core?
Hasn’t happened to me, but I have heard tell of that possibility. Doesn’t ruin the device either it will keep working like it should with or without the gold plating.

Edit: I see that’s already been answered! My bad, FC wasn’t displaying those other replies.

Anyone own a heavy hitting ball vape and still enjoy this? My VAS has mostly dissipated after owning a B0 but I am still a flavor chaser at heart and have heard good things about the flavor on this vape. Any other vapes beat it for strictly flavor? I don't own a Vapman but am interested.

Absolutely. Vapman is such a nice complement to a ball vape. Really on different ends of the spectrum. Vapman for flavor (& hash) is just so nice and doesn't deliver a hit that knocks your ass out. Those ballers can just get too intense. Think a lot of folks use a Vapman for daytime and then move to heavy hitter desktops at night. Killer combo.

if anyone's on the fence to get a(nother) vapman: there is an autumn sale going on at vapman.com right now for getting either a pure (€154) or classic (€177) set bundled with the new wooden box. potential savings appear to be upwards of €50 so that seems a nice deal?
If it was the Kotibe with a Walnut case, I'd jump on it, but I'd still need to buy an egg (I like my eggs) lol

Damn, just orderd one set a few days ago from France when "all I wanted" was the new wood box.

You can buy just the case from vapman.com

Costs €44 for the Walnut case and €49 for the Sandalwood. Both come with the herb container.
Well, I know but if I waited just 2/3 days I would get the case way cheaper in this package. Will get it later when I am able to justify the shipping costs.

Houch. Man I feel limited, looked all around how to do it
Thanks that is also my feeling. Late to the game but this vapman is really something special, can't believe why I never looked at this one seriously enought in the past. It does live up to the expectations I had since I recently started to look at this one making me read a lot of older things in this thread.
