Are these tubes going to be available for purchase separately? I like them both as is and the double looks huge!! (I want!!) Also am I mistakenly remembering some mention of an XL tube? Not with the IGG campaign maybe a vid or pic somewhere? Or maybe it was just a dream...

There's only 17 sold at the $1k level, perhaps it could be up to the end user whether to have the opals or not.

Great suggestion. I would love to have that but I am worried they are a tad tired of the logistics of who gets what and who doesn't want that and etc. What I like is how you pointed out there are only 17 fanatic purchases. Adding opals for the 17 fanatic tubes is not bad at all and I really hope this gets considered.

Who wouldn't want GREEN OPALS for the GREEN VXL EVO. :D

go get a VAP2 to hold you over. It's cheap, tastes better than anything out there and somehow is very effective for me even though I don't consider it a heavy hitter. But it's one of my three favorite vapes and is a great compliment to the Cloud. If you go out and get a LSV, etc like i did when my beta Cloud died you will be happy with it, but then when you get your EVO it will never get used again. The VAP2, however, still holds a place in my rotation even though my Cloud works.

I second sticks' suggestion to try this as a holdover until your Cloud is fixed.

I just went to the indigogo campaign page.

I like the v2 as well, from what I've read it's not a heavy hitter and it doesn't look like it will adapt to 18mm water tools very efficiently, but it excels in taste. I'm sure it would be a great option especially with the all-in-one bowl, I just wanted to put a little more info here for comparison's sake.

so, i see the double is a cap to turbine. is the single a circ to turbine or are there just vwrtical slits cut under the turbine? would be kinda like a circ i guess, would like aome up close stills of both tubes.would be cool if it was built like the swagger circsof past and an added turbine. i look forward to hitting these eithwr way. i could see the single being a complete effortless hit, the double adding juat a tad more but have that ability to really milk it uo. i love the size on that beast

Welp, my Cloud+ finally bit the dust, so that's about 7 1/2 months of use. Got the same response from customer service (repairs are no longer available) so I have a paperweight now. I respect this company too much, so I just preordered the EVO. I hope it's more reliable than the Cloud was.

When you say repairs are "no longer available", surely this is a temporary thing? Any word on approx how long? There's no way I could have paid for a plus warranty only to have it permanently thrown out the window.

Yes, this is temporary. I'm in your exact boat. I paid for the Cloud+ warranty and very soon thereafter my Cloud+ died and VXL had to shut down for a while. I immediately submitted a ticket even though I knew it would be months before they could possibly act on it. I suggest you do the same if you haven't already.

Personally I have no concerns at all that my warranty will be honored and I'll get my Cloud fixed as soon as they are able to do it. They are good folks and aren't out to screw anyone over.

Hope that helps?

:peace:

The VAPOLUTION V2 I use from time to time however is not my daily driver.
The TASTE brings out the best of TOP SHELF CANNABIS!
Now I will get the EVO when it comes out because I need a HEAVY HITTER.

All my vaporizers are flavor vapes.
Needing extreme medication I pulled out a 18mm bowl and a bubbler.
Combustion was brutal!
I woke up the next day feeling horrible.
Took a couple of rips with the V2 and I felt good again!

The EVO will be a good device for me.
I hear it's a heavy hitter?
The flavor is not bad at all I've been told?
When we had Brick and Mortar Dispensaries one bud tender who had the original CLOUD XHALE
told me: "No need for a quiver just the one device"!

I hope this will be a powerful unit to enhance my quiver.

The V2 dry is fine. All in Wonder or Vapor Barrel.
For water the NANO works very well concerning flavor.

I will just pay the full price when the EVO comes out.

@stonemonkey55, when is the last day you are able to pre-order? I'm sure this question will be asked more the closer we get to the campaign release.

You can pre-order pretty much until the day we launch. That exact date is sometime in October (still waiting to approve some parts before giving a specific date) but the forum and our social media channels will announce the official date and we plan on accepting pre-orders up until the time the first CloudEVO ships out.

If I may add my .02, single chamber designs work far better for vaping in my opinion. One of my favorite tubes to vape with is actually none other than a tiny lil' Hops Peashooter. If you appreciate flavor then a double chamber really isn't for you. Inline percs and vaporizers are a match made in heaven!

Still, those custom HTs are looking damn good SM!!

If I Pre-order I will have it by FEBRUARY?
I will be out of the country DECEMBER and JANUARY and it would be nice to come home to a new gadget!

Thanks JJ, I know we go way back to Glass District so getting your thumbs up definitely feels good. And you're right, my Hops Jagito is still one of my ALL TIME FAVES to use.

@ataxian - can you show me where on our website it says February? We need to update that, we're looking at a sometime in October-ish launch.

I said FEBRUARY not your site.
If you say by the end of OCTOBER that's even better!
So I can still pre-order by Friday of next week?

Finally got a chance to check out the videos for the early bird and fanatic tubes. My, are they beautiful, and substantial! My feeling is that they will be quite nice for special occasions, but leaves me thinking it might be nice to have a bit more modestly sized tube for every day use.

So the question is, besides the dry mouthpiece, can anyone make some recomendations for physically compact hydratubes?

Thanks!

Yesssir! It's too bad the District has become become an abandoned wasteland of late.

Quick couple of questions - Is the new 250 watt element going to draw that amount of power at all times? Also, will the plastic enclosure's color be painted on or will the color be of the plastic itself. Painted or better yet a powder coated finish could be a really good thing. Think infinite personalization like custom SSVs.

If only you guys could get a little blurb in Wired like the Ploom did last summer. Just a minimal amount of exposure in such a publication would be more than enough to take things to a whole 'nother level!

No. It doesn't need to.

The mouthpiece isn't an HT at all- no 'hydra' to it. The HT's on the VXL site are no smaller than about 8" high.

Check out the HC link in my sig with the lsv, that's about as small as the HT's get unless you go with a micro, which would need an adapter because it's a 14mm not 18mm gg connection. Also I would think that the evo would be more of a kitchen table/bar than a coffee table device with such a short tube.

If you wanted to use a whip however, a micro-tube would probably make a wonderful microphone-style mouthpiece. But that would spoil the all-glass pathway.

I think the best way to look at it, the only realistic way, is to consider Vapexhale v1.0 out of business. Vapexhale v2.0 is in business with R&D and manufacturing of their first product, the Cloud EVO. VXH v2.0 is in litigation over the rights of VXH v1.0 and that is up in the air until resolved. As such, all the Cloud/+'s from VXH v1.0 are unsupported but can be upgraded to the EVO for $200US plus sending your Cloud/+ in for the replacement.

That's how I would summarize what I understand to be the case, as a customer. Any inaccuracies?

There has been these prototypes having OG Cloud+ enclosure and possibly electronics, but also an ECO bamboo and heater. Most of fails are broken bamboos and disconnected heaters.

Soo... could they repair broken Clouds by making them into mulligans like these? Or does it require replacing all the electronics too?
Giveen the hetare itself is much more expensive than in the OG and if electronics need replacing too it would probably require the customer to pay some small upgrade fee.
The customer would get the repair sooner and easier and would have a Cloud performing like an EVO, for some price of course.

If he doesn't want to pay that, then there is still the original option of wait until they can externally replacement heaters for OG Clouds, so they get a regular replacement.

Stonemonkey has SPECIFICALLY stated that the warranty's will stay in tact and they will eventually repair them, not sure where or how you gathered that info vapordave.

Litigation can sometimes drag on for years.... Would that mean they won't honor the warranties until then? That's what I wonder about, since it has already been stated that (the litigation) is the holdup.
