Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

they get back ONLY 5% of $75k? ($3500) I must be understanding it wrong..
they get 95% of 75k

so if i contribute 500 for a nimbus package, i may not get a nimbus, if they dont meet there goal.
I am sure you will get your Nimbus if the company survives. And I am betting a 1000 on that.

This is a back to back post. Sorry. Don't know how to combine them.

mod note: Thanks for noticing. To avoid back-to-back posts, use Edit. Two posts merged.

It certainly would help if the site correctly reported the number of contributors and amount raised. Since last night there has been one new $500 contribution, but the total amount raised has actually been reduced (contributions are non-refundable btw, unless accidental). This should not be broken, nor difficult to fix.
Okay VHX needs to get on indiegogo's asses about the contribution reporting. I agree with oldiebutgoodie. It's a bigger deal than it seems.

Having lower numbers reported than what is actually there can be damaging to the campaign. We humans like to see what others are doing, and jump in when other people are doing it and it feels "safe." The indiegogo campaign shows 0 $1k supporters, when in fact there are a few. Even if someone wanted to be a $1k supporter, but saw 0 current $1k supporters, they'd wonder why no one else is doing it and if they really should do it.

We need all that data to show up. That's pretty lame of indiegogo to glitch like that.

If they don't make it, indiegogo return your money.

Actually, if they don't make it, indiegogo takes a higher percentage of commission then gives the money to VXH. But don't worry, even if this campaign didn't hit $10k, VXH said this is more of a bonus fundraiser thing and they already have other investors/investments they will turn to.

This is just a good chance to be a supporter, to help out and get in on the action early, and to get a better deal on a Nimbus than retail.

alright cause i want to get a nimbus, i have a cloud thats working great still from august 2012

What? If they don't make it. You will lose. And the creditors might even come after you cause you were part of the issue.
I am trying to help the company survive. I hope it will survive. But I know there are risks. I don't think the risks are great but there are risks when you deal with a fledgling organization. But their product is great and their attitude better (a pretty good combination).

I'm not so sure about that, from what I've read from Troi & SM55's posts. Careful about spreading misinformation on accident...

Yeah dude no creditors are going to come after any of us lol

I was kidding. But I would almost bet if their is no company there is no nimbus. Rocket science

What missinformation. That the creditors might come and get you. Wake you up in the middle of the night grab your dog for ransom. That is all the truth. And nothing but the truth.

6. We're not going under, we can rely on Plan Z as we already have investors but they aren't from a cannabis background. If we can't raise enough, we can just go to bed with the devil :D

Just to add some light to the issue. It doesn't fully explain it, but just remembered that they had posted something addressing "going under".

I see I was thinking that "if they dont make it" referred to the company not making it not to the campaign not being successful. I am glad that I donated through paypal. I want the company to have the money no matter what and I am sure they will do the right thing.

I have been with a succession of startups (who attempted to get venture capital) and this until the contract is signed is really (informed) speculation. It is hopeful and likely but unless you have the money yourself nothing is certain. I am counting on the continued life of this company.

I'm still working on the funds - I hope this works out for VXL, I kinda made the decision to hold off on anything else upcoming. The cloud did me right the first time, I'm sure the nimbus will do the same. It's funny, I'm not going to mention names but other devices recently released are getting very mixed reviews. When the cloud dropped it was like wow, this is the fucking shiznit! I want that feeling again...

I just hope it doesn't turn into a zombie apocalypse trying to get your hands on one!

I think I have an idea which other devices you are referring to. Like you I am in the same boat but I don't think the other "devices" out there really fit my setup quite like the cloud for beauty, efficiency, ease of use, and convenience. My current setup with a cloud ticker model plus Mobius 60t is really hard to beat. My dilemma is do I invest in the 1K model or not. I am not a huge fan of Hydratubes compared to using the cloud inverted on my Mobius with cloud buddy but a really slick Hydratube for those special occassions and a backup cloud for 1K that is limited edition and supported for life is really tempting the hell out of me. Needs vs. Wants LOL I am kind of watching this thread while I debate this in my head :)

I just let The Shroomery know about this.

Yall mothafuckas need to spread the word!

Also, stop worrying and making misinformed posts about getting your money back if they don't reach $75k. They'll simply take whatever they made and apply it toward their business. You think if they don't make it all the way to $75k they're gonna cry and go home, take everyone's money, and just decide to end their entire business? That's nuts. They'll simply accept the indiegogo funds they have and reward supporters for what they did. This indiegogo fundraiser is a bonus to help them operate faster. Not a dire & desperate call for emergency support.
