Sure, if you're talking traditional style hash, just crumble some into an ELB - either topping some flower, or simply on it's own (which imo is preferable as it allows you to select a higher temp more suited to your product) and you're good to go. Your ELB might get gunked up a bit quicker than with solely flower, but that's a small price to pay for the amount of flavorsome vapor you'll experience . . . .

After many months of only being able to use Mighty/Crafty, Tonight I have unpacked and re-released the beast that is the VXL EVO. Inhaling sweet tasting vapors through my old Stone Glassworks Shower Dome was sublime. The effects so smoooooth and pure. It reminded me of this video I made a long time ago . .. in a better day . . .. which won a cool prize . . .

Hey guys, I need to order some new baskets. Do the current ones fit tight? I don't invert my Evo but I'm damn sick and tired of ELB's being sucked up half way into the HT and ruining the consistancy of the hit. Has anyone purchaced ELB's recently? When my Evo was repaired I received 2 new baskets that I literally had to throw away that fit so loose they just didn't work.

I'm going to order now and I hope there is a way I can leave a note in the order of my concern.

i recently received a 4 pack of ELB's and all of them fit pretty loose in the bamboo. I sorta like them loose as i dont have to pry the elb out with my nail lol and I dont invert the unit at all so its not a problem for me.

I only hit it at 3 o'clock LOL :-).

The Cloud Evo is the best vape I have ever used, and I still stand by the statement. I just got a Mighty and my friend asked to compare. I said, listen, whenever I'm home I use the Cloud, does that give you a good enough review? LOL :-)

Same here. Started at 3 when I first got it and got a little charring along with lung busting clouds.

Now....My go to temp on a new fill is noon/default. I fill enough for two sessions and on the second session I set the temp to 2 o'clock. Helps me to remember whether there's another session left in the ELB....If the temp is at noon I set the temp to 2...if the temp is at 2 I know to clean and fill the ELB.

And on another note - I can't count the number of times I've turned the EVO on, waited for it to reach temp and realized that I forgot to put an ELB in

The recycler does not recycle smoothly at all but it also never leaks. I would go with the symbiartic if you're ok with high diffusion

i recently received a 4 pack of ELB's and all of them fit pretty loose in the bamboo. I sorta like them loose as i dont have to pry the elb out with my nail lol and I dont invert the unit at all so its not a problem for me.

I'm really confused.. When mine are loose, they get sucked up halfway into the HT when I inhale. Taking a slower draw helps but it doesn't solve the problem. Right now I'm looking at the tracking page of my 4 ELB's and it's showing up AS DELIVERED IN MAILBOX even when the regular mail still hasn't come.

Honestly, I made a special note with VXH when I ordered the baskets... to MAKE SURE that these FIT TIGHT or I will be returning them right back to them. If I get loose baskets, I'll be sending them back.. If I get loose baskets again, I'll send it back again. However if it happens a 3rd time, I'll be doing my business with another company because INCONSISTENCIES are one of my pet peeves when it comes to companies.

Also If I buy a new Hydrabomb later this year, I expect it to be perfect... not factory seconds. For $150 I expect a certain level of quality.

I'll post back later if these things show up with the mail today.

Is it really £160 for a new one.. it was only £65 when bought with the Cloud Evo...

The whole unit just tipped... and the inner tube clean snapped off.. Thankfully the bamboo for my evo is in one piece.. however i'm worried some shattered glass may have got into the airway or unit..
How can i thoroughly clean the base unit? Was thinking i'd hoover it first.

Man, this absolutely sucks. Gutted..

You can get a DHgate hydratube for 20-40$ or so USD. that way you can buy 3 of em still saving money

Update.. Just received my pack of 4 ELBs and............ THEY ARE PERFECT AND ACTUALLY FIT TIGHTER THAN EXPECTED! I just loaded up a fresh bowl and let her rip with my Ace of Spades Indica (tribute to Lemmy lol) at full lung capacity! The ELB's don't move and I couldn't be happier! Thank you VXH!

Edit: it appears as if they may have fixed the issue of having to press down on the caps to keep them in place. Although these are clean spanking new from the factory, the lids stay on tight and I haven't had to use the technique of having to crush in the end caps at all yet!

Does anyone bolt their evo down to the table? Or use something to stop it tipping over?
I can't believe it was so easy to break... and so expensive to fix.
I don't really want to get a replica and i really like the hydratubes style.. just need to never, ever break it again.

I don't do this, but get some peel & stick velcro. Use the neoprene sleeve & undo the velcro strap. Figure out exactly where to stick your velcro on the table & strap yo EVO down.

I would recommend always removing the HT from the EVO when you are done with each rip, as well. It's a lot safer if it's on the table or a hydrafoot if it's not one of the fat-bottomed tubes.

...unfortunately breaking glass pieces is inevitable ...comes with the territory unfortunately ...u r not the only one...broke a limited edition hydra tube...couple years back..

Loose Elbs can easily be fixed by just squeezing them at the weld so the weld doesn't break. Just squeeze them so the center sticks out more and it will fit fine most of my elb's have needed a slight squeeze so they don't get sucked up into a HT or into my bomb base or other pieces. I've never had one break on me yet from the squeezing. Or for any reason lol, I've never lost or broken 1 elb. I hope that I can keep that up forever lol.
