Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
That was one of the pieces SM showed me (allowed me to try out). Seriously lung power required, but afterwards you're unable to accurately describe what the hell that thing was that just knocked you on your ass. Did anybody get the license of that truck?

You guys know what size pelican case the evo and a ht might fit into? 1500? thinking of what to use for storage/transport.

Try 1/2 full, makes a big difference IMO

I actually do what SM (I think) suggested: turn to 3 o'clock, then when green turn to 12 o'clock, the time to cool to 12 helps heat the mass. Then when green on 12 I turn to 1:30 or 2:00 because I like the vapor denisty vs flavor right around there :D
So I tried this on mine- but have to crank back up to 3 to get thick white vapor. Keep feeling like mine is running cold. ???

Another weird issue with my Cloud EVO today. I assume maybe it hit the shut off point, and instead of it flashing red / green it was both RED and GREEN. Is that supposed to happen? LOL

Really loving the unit when it works 100% (except for yesterday's when it didn't turn on for a bit, and this red / green thing). Also I seem to have to let it soak on for a bit to get to the right temp, not when it turns green.

The red & green led's flash together when the unit times out.

Re heat up, when the unit first turns green, the sensor is indicating that the heater has reached your setting, and if sufficiently high enough will to begin delivering light vapor. As "thermal mass" increases in the unit, so does extraction/vapor. Try turning the unit on at 3, when the light goes green, adjust the dial to desired position, light will go red, when green again you should get vapor although waiting another ~5-10 minutes works best IME.

If thick white vapor is what you want, usually 2-3 is where the unit needs to be set. On my units at 3 I can milk the largest pieces I have, like the Fanatic Swagger. But I know I'm wasting vapor, I prefer about 1:30 for a good blend of flavor and density. The unit heats so quickly once at that point that I sometimes increase it to 2 for a couple of hits then increase it to 3 to finish it off.

About the top end heat and concentrates - according to SM, with their attachment the EVO will be able to vape concentrates. For that matter, people have already done it, just been in a klugey sort of way.

I have a 1400 for my ticker. I bought an extra pick-and-pluck for it, so I'll probably just make a new one for my Evo. Should be much better as the cord on the OG Cloud was always the hardest thing to deal with in the case.

It's a good size (the 1400) for the Evo and I would recommend it.

I have currently evolved into using an entirely different approach than I did with the Cloud+. This is made possible by the fact that once the EVO is heatsoaked, it seems to be very responsive to increases in temperature. so I can turn up the dial in the middle of a session, wait a minute or two after it turns green, and by the time I am naturally ready to take another hit, it's ready.

Instead of just going straight to the high-temp clouds like I used to, I'm usually doing something like this with every ~1/3 ELB:

1st hit: vape off the most delicate goodies at like 10:30-11:00 using the straight dry mouthpiece
2nd-3rd hit: crank the temp to ~1:00, wait a couple mins and rip it through whatever HT or bubbler I feel like using
last hit: crank to 3:00-3:30 wait a couple mins and finish it off using the best diffusion available

If pre-heated, I can complete my ritual in ~5-7 minutes. I think this is allowing me to squeeze more content out of my herb, while providing the most delicious flavor I have ever experienced in that first hit. I can't overstate the flavor of that first cool hit with the straight dry tube. I think it's obvious enough that I am thrilled with the EVO.

one of my favorite little improvements over my Cloud+ is the fact that none of my ELBs have gotten snagged in the joints of any glass I have mated the EVO with, ever, regardless of the experience level of the user. this was occasionally an issue with my Cloud+ on some glass joints and it is completely eliminated by the thicker/stubbier joint of the EVO

Yeah man . . . EVO has made flavor surfing the dial a real sport for me . . . :ko:

Rub it in!:nope:

Even I own a EVO!

It only took me TWO SESSIONS total tonight to get me medicated beyond expectations.
Decided I should call it a night instead of packing #3.
That's why it's worth it!

I am going to replace my broken HT with a new one however I really really want a nice bubbler to run it inverted with!

Was coming in here to ask about HT transport/storarge options after my recent loss of a Vaporblunt HT i liked a lot.
Going to get a Swagger Showercap very soon from a FC member but I guess I have to start saving for the recycler HT too....

Think I could fit a evo AND a swagger showercap in a 1400/1500?
I would be totally open to going something cheaper than Pelican if it fits and does the job...

I have a Nanuk 930. Also highly recommended.

For a low-cost alternative, take a look at the Plano 1404 Gun Case, here:

So, this morning I had EVO heated up to a comfortable Noon, and I literally grabbed a pinch of herb, put it in the ELB - barely enough to cover the bottom, if it were level - hit it FOUR times at Noon, then once at 3 - LOTS of vapor, I'm seriously medicated, and the ABV was caramel-colored, even, and probably could have gone another round.

I'm quite impressed.

Yeah I'm not sure what kind of shipping you have, but mine was "Direct Signature" so the Fed-Ex guy came, asked for my address, and my NAME! LOL. Then I had to sign for it.

....that exact same one....sometimes they have asked, sometimes not....not taking any chances...already had it delayed because of weather...so I'm staying in ....lol..

I've been exploring the EVO's lower ranges a bit more. It was hard at first since honestly, watching glass pieces fill with instant thick-milk never gets old. But the lower range on the EVO hasn't got enough attention. I've been going for thinner vapour, which the EVO has done very well. Consistent, smooth, and tasty.

What dial settings are you using?

I've been doing about 12.

I let it heat to 12 for about 7 or 8 minutes. It provides a fair bit of vape still, just not very opaque. You can crank it up accordingly as the weed gets more and more vaped.

The nice thing about the lower temp is the hits are more manageable. It's a more efficient temp setting.

When I want to get stoneddddddd I usually do the slow and steady, through the different temps, just because I find it more effective. I usually top off though with a couple big cloud bowls.

For the low ranges,
I'm getting some visible vapor if l I preheat long enough at around 10:30
I will have to do more testing. It seems even after a preheat that I need to be closer to 1PM to produce visible vapor.

Another thing i've been noticing so far is that the Evo seems to work best for me with slower draw speeds where my Cloud+ seems to work best for me at faster draw speeds.

Thats weird, I never had a Cloud+, but the faster I pull with my my evo, the thicker the hit is. When I have a friend who is hitting it the first time they can barely get any visible vapor. I tell them to hit it as hard as they can and then they get a thicker hit.
