At full max temp, I'm getting quick and awesome vapor production but I'm wondering whether I should be combusting at max and whether my unit is running cold.

Whoa...no way I could run at max temp with flower and not have charred crap come out.

I run flower at about 1:15 on the dial. 2:00 on the dial is about as high as I could possibly go with flower and that's really too much.

Sounds like you are indeed running a bit cold but I see where another poster thinks not compared to his.

Analog device...hard to say.

Let me ask this...what do you get for vapor at 1 - 2 o'clock? Good vapor (especially closer to 1:00)? If so, sounds ok to me.

Good question/test. I neglected to mention in my previous reply that I set my Evo to 1-1:30, at which I get excellent vapor. This is the sweet spot on many if not most units. I agree with @Baron23 that if you're getting good vapor between 1-2, sounds OK.

Yes its pumping good vapor from 11pm to max. Just thicker and quicker as I go up.

Sounds like you are ok. As said, most folks are in that 1 - 1:30 range but we all have differing tastes and desires.

Now...you do know that if you really heat soak the EVO well the vapor gets a bit thicker than when it just turns green...but I still get pretty dang good thick vapor at 1:15 even just after the bamboo color turns green.

Sounds like your unit is ok, yeah?

Yes, its great. I just never held onto my old one long enough to get a good baseline of the potential of the evo. Thanks for the help on my questions @Baron23 and @oldiebutgoodie

I really liked the simplicity of the older Evolver & Swagger tubes.

I don't have the tricked out version. Just a regular plain ol' HL, sitting on the HydraFoot 2.0 . . . wish it was taller like yours (that's not a 2nd piece on top, is it?), but it still does its job just fine. (And, yes, this baby needs its diaper changed.)

3 o'clock and both my units will combust the load...

2:45 is max for me..

They have always been this way...

I've just spotted VapeXhale EVO on a Czech retail site for the first time!
Congratulation for the reach!
I thought they were still only available in like 2 stores across the entire EU+Britain.
Only really mainstream vapes and some chinese crap makes it to the czech market.
Great to see this vape finally make it into the mainstream world.

I've had a couple Evos and some Clouds. Max temp will combust flower (unless wet) on all the ones I've had, but not at first. Takes a few hits. If you want a really maximum dense cloud and be at the edge of combusting, 3pm to 4pm on the dial. It could combust at 4pm. Use extra water filtration and/or ice nipples on your piece and at that temp--you're in the land of one hitter quitter territory--with any good size draw.

That all said, let the unit warm up 15 to 20 minutes on 10 to 11am, and you'll get much more tasty plus plenty cloudy draws.

Just depends what you're in the mood for....
