They say (fan club + creator) do not use an inverter?

I just bought a 115watt unit that works with my log? (32 watts) Work's fine.

How many watt's does a EVO require?

I'm going on a road trip and wanted to take my EVO along! Someone said it's not possible?

Inverters don't create true AC, the sine wave is squared off. AC truly alternates direction, most inverters mock this, not create it. It's works fine for resistive loads, not electronics.

I'm not sure if I can explain it better in layman's terms.

There are some that do create AC, but they're expensive.

I'd use the log :razz:

I LOVE the EVO. (it's staying home)

OK don't want to ruin it!
I do want to see REDWOODS growing into the sea!
COUGARS on the beach. (mountain lion's)
CHILE had beautiful beaches with HAWK'S however no MOUNTAIN LION'S?
Maybe they were eaten?

We are lucky at this time to be on this PALE BLUE DOT at this time in space!

My SOLO of 6 years still works. (back up)

It's a sad day :(. My EVO decided to shut down when cleaning a nail. Worked fine when I took a dab, then shortly after cranking it up to clean, poof. Now it won't turn on :(. The airpath looks clean, no spilled concentrates, not sure what happened.

Here's to hoping for prompt support service!

I'll have to look up this instagram video!

I've been leaving it on to clean nails after using them...but usually sit within a few feet of the device and try to remember to turn it off after 5-10 minutes. I'll admit though, more often than not, it is usually automatically turned off by the time I check.

and only 1 actual combustion as far as i know...

Heya friends long time no talk, I been using the EVO lots lately! Still holding up and going strong! It's a perfect wingman :lol: it's unique enough for conversation, it's easy to use (no technique), it brings out the best taste, i can't pass it far so you gotta be sitting close, I can prepack and wow her with my CIVILIZED smorgasbord of strains :)

10/10 best wingman

Does it glow like there's still a capacitive charge lighting up an LED or something internal? Or does it glow like a hot ember or glass?

I can't say I've seen this, but I haven't looked in the dark and my LED's aren't very bright in normal room lighting.

Tonight (in about 3 hours), I'm gonna have my evo on hot for a full hour, and switch it off in the dark. And have a good look down the rabbit hole....

I will let you know if i see any glow from the glass...

Edit:- definitely no glow from mine being on for 2 hours, turned off in pitch black....

I was cleaning the nail, it didn’t matter what the dial showed as the heater malfunctioned resulting in the whole bamboo glowing orange with the heat. Then it went up.

I have a new unit, works perfectly. Also was kindly sent a pack of quartz nails (the one in the unit was destroyed) and a replacement heat cover as the one I had was melted around the top.

So while I'm waiting for my EVO to be fixed, I'm back to using my analog rig, a quartz banger through a shower head perk a local glass student made for me.

Sometimes I get amazingly flavorful dabs, sometimes not, which I always used to equate to temp fluctuations given that I was using a torch and waiting until it felt right.

Now that I have an EVO, I generally have more consistent flavorful dabs due to consistent temps, but not always, even tho it is the same batch of oil.

Does anyone have any ideas of why that might be? Could terps be distributed unevenly throughout the concentrate, or perhaps either my method of loading/hitting EVO nails or the way I'm dropping it into the banger make a difference?

Also, for anyone that uses the adapter kit to connect to their glass pieces, how often do you need to replace/clean the tubing? I had a whip style vape years ago that would quickly impart that burnt popcorn flavor and was annoying to clean. Haven't ever used one with concentrates, but am tempted to pick up the kit so I can still use my other glass pieces.

Wow... That's scary about the fire. When my old one overheated it only got to the orange glow & I yanked the power cord with smoke coming out of it. To actually go to a flame is frightening.

Are the quartz really that much better than the boro? I may have to pick up a pack, as I've been using only a couple boros & one decided to split in two when burning off. Do the quartz hold up better?

I think for me it’s a clear difference between quartz and boro when it comes to the vapexnails. I rarely use the boro ones.

Quartz isn’t just better cos you can torch them clean but it’s how quick the dab vaporises when you pop the nail in. With boro it’s probably 5-6 seconds but with quartz you’re looking at 2-3 seconds and the nail will cool much quicker too. It seems like a more organic process to pop the nail in and lift the tube on and hit without much delay.

Yeah my new unit did the overheating thing again as well last night, no flames this time. I’m keeping a close eye.

My Precision Hydrabomb developed a crack in perc area, had less than a month, never dropped or tipped over , one day water spilled onto me as I took off bamboo, luckily caught the issue before I used it again ... sent video to VapeXhale , they are sending a new one , no hassel , very easy process so far...Great customer from Vapexhale so far
