Variety elevates appreciation of an individual pieceI find I go back and forth in phases. I used the Evo/Cloud without a HT for over a year and loved it. Then when I broke out the HT I couldn't believe I hadn't used it for so long!
Similar thing - I got kinda sick of my hyrafoot/hydratube Combo pretty early on.I find I go back and forth in phases. I used the Evo/Cloud without a HT for over a year and loved it. Then when I broke out the HT I couldn't believe I hadn't used it for so long!
Temperature, grind, flower quality, and ELB fill level all influence clouds. For clouds, I like a medium to medium/fine grind, fill ELB 1/3, turn my knob up to 4 or even 5 o'clock. But going for bigger clouds does negatively impact taste.Hey, guys. Got a cloud evo with nails and ELBs and a Hydrabomb and a stand and the dry mouthpiece, brand new, on Craigslist for $150!
But I can't get it to milk like everyone else does! I've got top notch, dense nugs from a dispensary. My Evo heats just as it should, it's the new model, and I wait 15 minutes to use it.
I get bigger hits than from other vapes, so I'm DEFINITELY not upset, but I see everyone else posting literally whitewalled Evo + Glass shots. Like it looks like combustion, when you guys do it. So how should i? Loose Pack? Pax-type Pax? Let me know!!!! Thank you
EDIT/PS: I have a D020-D that I'm pairing it with today for an experiment, and I bought some $20/g stuff from a great place in santa monica. Here's to clouds
ELB fill level can impact clouds quite a bit. I think it had to do with heat transfer and flow. I never fill ELBs above 1/2.Does the full level really impact vapor density that much? I have already partially answered my own question, as the D020-D's larger can has allowed for MUCH bigger clouds from my Cloud. Would this impact extend to even larger piece? Because hell, I'll buy a 2 foot beaker if it'll give me maximum milk hits. Thank you!!
I used the VXN's, but both of mine broke :// definitely massive clouds, but I try to avoid concentrate usage as a general rule. Too easy to go overboard with
Alright, I need some advice.
I've moved back to the States and have left my EVO in Canada for the mean time. But, I want to get it back. It isn't the first time I've brought it across the border, but I hadn't been using the EVO with oil on those last few times. Since I've been using oil, the inside bamboo/ glass of the EVO has become rather filthy, with hard residue at the bottom.
I know the laws of the border (I'm a duel citizen, I'm quite confident) and I'd probably be bringing it through by car. The only fear is getting randomly searched and having them find it and realize it's a vaporizer. I wish I had the money just to buy a new EVO, but unfortunately that isn't a plausible reality.
Based on the laws, if the device is clean, the worst thing they can do is take it away. So, what I'm asking is, who has some methods for getting the inside of the EVO crystal clean? I've personally soaked it in 99% iso before, but that always fails to get the bottom of the inside chamber clear of the resin. I'm theorizing purple power might be the answer, but I'd love to hear some suggestions!
Why not mail it?Alright, I need some advice.

My first post... Hello!
Got me a Cloud Evo a few weeks ago. I did my research on this baby, and part of my research led me to this forum. You people really helped cement my decision and I thank you.
Am I happy? Oh yeah... To tell you how sweet this is to me, I ordered the ShowerCap HT and have been using it for 3 weeks before showing someone the website and realizing that they sent me the Double instead. Don't know how I could miss that little detail... Oh yeah. Clouds!
This thing is beautiful.
I previously just used a portable (PAX) all the time. Now the portable is just for when I'm away from home. What's funny is that reading how some have been clumsy, I have had the exact opposite reaction with this. It's kinda hard to forget that I have this HT in hand, so it goes on the stand when not hitting it. With the small PAX I would forget that it was in my lap, get up for snacks, and proceed to cuss when it hit the floor. Glass makes me more careful.
Glad to be here!
Welcome to the Good Life!! The EVO hasI said the same basic thing and totally agree with the "handling factor" as I do not find it awkward at all either.
Curious though, because this is what I am experiencing as a new Evo and Hydratube user, do you find the Pax vapor very very dry and harsh? I never really cared for the Pax in the first place but after going to the Cloud Evo I really dislike it(taste wise). The Pax has it's place but that place is far away from my counter top.
That's not about the Pax but rather a short, unfiltered vapor path. Using the EVO with water also works great for smoothing out the taste, which goes downhill as you get further into a bowl, on any vape. Any time I use a portable I'm prepared for some bad taste before I finish off the bowl.do you find the Pax vapor very very dry and harsh?
It should work that way for everyone. I usually invert my EVO into a Mobius bubbler, so I always try to be aware of the glass on both ends.Glass makes me more careful.
You made a good choice. Enjoy the forum.I did my research on this baby, and part of my research led me to this forum. You people really helped cement my decision and I thank you.

I haven't tried the Firefly and have no room in my budget for another vape until I sell one or more, so don't tempt me.I agree on all counts but not to cross-pollinate the forums but I did not find that harshness with the Firefly. I know it had a different heating method but the vapor off that thing was excellent for a portable and comparing it to the PAX. Now when comparing it to say the EVO...well let's just say no comparison and that I missed the boat on getting one of these until now!
