Along with a battery holder for 3 18650s and some connectors for charging and supplying power would do it?

i did the same thing! i find the psm to be a bit more aggressive than the caldron ... ymmvWell after having a Caldron for a few months I finally decided to take the plunge and get a PSM ahead of the holidays.
And now comes that wonderful time when you've paid your invoice and you wait very patiently for the fun to begin.
I don't need to be free of the plug-IF- you must be free of the plug and -IF- you can provide the power required - Cauldron. My vote.
My PSM is sitting an hour away, probably going to get here tomorrow (if not, then Saturday), and I could not be more excited to have it before the rush of the holidays.
Thanks again @Pipes! Looking forward to relegating my Caldron to its new permanent home on my desk!
Hey guys the red LED burnt jout on my secondhand PSM. I get a very very faint blue light in place, but you can't see it while in use. Anyone know how to re-do/fix the LED? Is taking the unit a part easy?
Thanks!

Isn’t the blue light just the mosfet led?LED's are normally sealed so when they light up they are in an oxygen-free environment. If the plastic lens breaks, the junction is exposed. This compromises the stuff that glows. What remains is a pail blue light if the connection is otherwise intact.
