You are absolutely right. This is certainly a low priority enhancement, and it would seem FJ is not hurting for demand. I'll see how it goes, I have some batteries charging. although, I will concede that I should have tested it before going down this tangent here. Blame the effectiveness of the TUBOx.

It does a good job of breaking up and containing the vapor. It doesn't have an internal screen like the stock mouthpieces, so I shove a basket screen down in there and then cap it.
It would be cool if there was an edge to hold a screen because I find myself constantly trying to prevent the basket screen from falling in too far.

NFE Tools recognized the Gen3, then when I went to load the latest mytuboevic firmware i got an error message about compatibility with device. So, no go. I was able to get the latest myevic firmware loaded. I haven't made the effort to see which version of myevic added the Gen3, but a typical next step would be to toss that firmware version along with the prior into a visual compare tool, and isolate the lines and references that added the mod compatibility. I do realize the TUBOx is a minority share of this thread, so I hope this is taken as helpful contribution.

Yes, from what I understand any temp control subohm mod that can operate at 70 watts can work. Some others have mentioned Arctic Fox with regards to customization. Most want the TUBO custom myevic for the warm-up, cruise, temp-step, and eco functions; I think AF would only work on demand.
Ah, I didn't realize that the cruise etc features were unique to the tubomyevic software.

Does it happen when in cruise or while on demand ? Can you describe your usage pattern so i could give any advise . If you dont preheat the tubo and try to push at high temps while inhaling it is very likely for that to happen. Try cruising in temps like 185-190 for 40-50 seconds and then start your session. .Draw speed also might be a factor along with preheat.
What I'd like to know it's how increasing the resistance affects the load on the battery and chip? Am I incorrect in thinking that increasing resistance will help the evic reach temp with less of a load on the device? If not, can someone explain how the resistance affects energy distribution?
, Mod runs at 40-50 watts and often maxes out it wattage,which means it is running on the edge of its capabilities at prolonged periods which is not the design intent ,which is for ecig atomizers where people rarely fire for longer than 20 seconds. Avoid drawing toooo fast.
