Just got my shipping notice. Should have it this week! 🤞

I will be using the Wand only. Anyone have some new Wand heating techniques they wanna share?

I've seen figure of around 20sec of heating to the first click with the Wand. I'm looking for flavor over a crazy dark roast. Would appreciate heating tips.

Even with full bowl? I thought it would need much more cooling.
I haven’t tried a full bowl, but for smaller bowls the Tornado is much cooler than the Anvil in my experience. I use my Anvil through water, but with the Tornado I am happy to use my OG stem with the XL mouthpiece.

OG stem works impressively well for cooling. I was lucky enough to have one that didn’t need to be chopped down. A chopped USA works well but can feel a bit suspect, definitely recommend shaking it before taking a torch to it.

doing one cycle empty and then a loaded cycle gets me better results. A hot Tornado is a happy Tornado.

Or heat for 5 seconds, remove from the Wand to so the heat can distribute, then finish heating until click. My aim with the Wand is to get the Tornado hot enough but not cook the herb too much by restricting the time it directly heats up in the Wand.

Thanks for the tip!

Do you get a decent amount of flavor? I don't mind a light roast as long as it's tasty.

Checking now in fact: light caramel, good flavor too. I think the torch is still better, and even now I'm curious for the Forge. I travel with the Tornado, and I always take the Wand, not the torch, because it's so easy. I've set it to 315 celsius, and that's 20 seconds.

I tried 3 other bowls torching more in the middle and it is better but I still not have the right spot. I had 3 times the bowl that stuck and need to wait 5-10min before to be abble to unscrew it
With the old anvil stem, the airflow is a little bit thighter, but the difference is weak.

Hey all, I have some good news regarding the Tornado stem adapter I've been working. @Duba has tested it and we are good to go. I'm asking £25.00 for them and anyone wishing to purchase one will need to contact me directly as I don't currently have a webstore. Besides here, I can be found on IG or email: scruffy.woofer@gmail.com. Ta!

Does this only work for tornado, is it a 9mm to 8mm essentially?

@Duba Have you had the chance to try the Tornado on the Tempest stem?

If not did you find other stems cooled enough with a full bowl?

I didn't keep the Tempest stem, which I didn't like, so I can't help you with that.
I have no doubt it will work well with the Tornado too if you like it.

I was able to try it on my @Aezhenn wood and glass stem and Simrell's stinger and the 2 do just fine (full bowl).
As the Tornado's vapor is pretty smooth, many stems on the market will be enough to enjoy it, so there's nothing to worry about.

The adapter is nice and well done, as always with @ScruffyWoofers, thank's man!

Thanks. A few people have said that now. A bowl that large, still smooth native is special imo.

i agree. It's special to me too, and to be honest, amazing and appreciable!:D
I can't wait to hear your feedback, did you order it?:)
It was sold out by the time I made up my mind. I'm ready to pull the trigger as soon as they come back into stock.

I really liked the OG Anvil, but the bowl size was really frustrating for me. My dose is 0.3-0.4g. So I had to do back to back to back bowls with the torch.

So that huge bowl is a big deal for me. That's maybe why I've been putting so much emphasis on it.

I'm starting to believe in the atomiser. There must be something going on to make the vapour as smooth as reported, and it can't just be the conduction imo.

EDIT I really like the increased efficiency. Huge bowl for the same heat up time as Anvil.

Can you try the tornado out on the long fusion woody stem? I’d be interested how it performs and I think the rosewood and tornado combination will look very nice :brow:

Hello! I’d like to share a tip I discovered with the Tornado. I’ve encountered an issue since I started using it: sometimes I forget to unscrew the cap before starting my session. This causes it to get stuck once it’s heated, and I can’t open it until it has completely cooled down. Even then, it can be very difficult to open because it’s tightly stuck. I finally realized that the hexagonal hole at the top of the bowl has a specific purpose. By using a standard 1/8-inch Allen key, you can insert it into this hexagonal hole to unscrew the bowl, even when it’s stuck. This is especially useful for those who like to chain bowls and sometimes forget not to screw it in all the way, as recommended by Vestratto:

the Fusion stem is 9mm diam and this adapter is 8mm so i can't test for real bu i mounted it for fun, for you (with the short stem) :

That actually looks better with the mini stem! Much more balanced with the longer oven and the adapter. I think I will have similar setup to this, I’m hoping to use a bigger oring size on the adapter and use it with the fusion stems

Tore-nah-doe landed tonight.

Tried Inductor with first bowl; it double clicked real fast; and I dumped the blackest of black uncombusted ABV. Too far for me, try the FireFox for go 2, god damn! My prophet was solid white for multiple back to back pulls, dumped nice toasty brown perfect ABV. It seems too easy. I almost dislike how much I like this vape right now…

ETA: I hit the neck tube at the logo for a brief (2-4 seconds) shot at the beginning of both heats. Vapor was not perfectly smooth, but far smoother than it should have been for the volume and opacity of the vapor it chucks.

What’s the mouthpiece you’re using with the mini stem?
