Just got my shipping notice. Should have it this week! 🤞

I will be using the Wand only. Anyone have some new Wand heating techniques they wanna share?

I've seen figure of around 20sec of heating to the first click with the Wand. I'm looking for flavor over a crazy dark roast. Would appreciate heating tips.

OG stem works impressively well for cooling. I was lucky enough to have one that didn’t need to be chopped down. A chopped USA works well but can feel a bit suspect, definitely recommend shaking it before taking a torch to it.

doing one cycle empty and then a loaded cycle gets me better results. A hot Tornado is a happy Tornado.

Or heat for 5 seconds, remove from the Wand to so the heat can distribute, then finish heating until click. My aim with the Wand is to get the Tornado hot enough but not cook the herb too much by restricting the time it directly heats up in the Wand.

Thanks for the tip!

Do you get a decent amount of flavor? I don't mind a light roast as long as it's tasty.

Checking now in fact: light caramel, good flavor too. I think the torch is still better, and even now I'm curious for the Forge. I travel with the Tornado, and I always take the Wand, not the torch, because it's so easy. I've set it to 315 celsius, and that's 20 seconds.

I tried 3 other bowls torching more in the middle and it is better but I still not have the right spot. I had 3 times the bowl that stuck and need to wait 5-10min before to be abble to unscrew it
With the old anvil stem, the airflow is a little bit thighter, but the difference is weak.
