Even with full bowl? I thought it would need much more cooling.I've got it on the OG Anvil stem. Airflow is great. I love it on the old stem. You won't regret it. Cooling is no problem at all

I haven’t tried a full bowl, but for smaller bowls the Tornado is much cooler than the Anvil in my experience. I use my Anvil through water, but with the Tornado I am happy to use my OG stem with the XL mouthpiece.Even with full bowl? I thought it would need much more cooling.
Maybe I've got a windpipe of steel, but no. And I was surprised too. I had expected the vapor to be hotter than it is on the OG stemEven with full bowl? I thought it would need much more cooling.
What's your order number?Just got my shipping notice. Should have it this week!
I will be using the Wand only. Anyone have some new Wand heating techniques they wanna share?
I've seen figure of around 20sec of heating to the first click with the Wand. I'm looking for flavor over a crazy dark roast. Would appreciate heating tips.

Thanks for the tip!doing one cycle empty and then a loaded cycle gets me better results. A hot Tornado is a happy Tornado.
Or heat for 5 seconds, remove from the Wand to so the heat can distribute, then finish heating until click. My aim with the Wand is to get the Tornado hot enough but not cook the herb too much by restricting the time it directly heats up in the Wand.
Checking now in fact: light caramel, good flavor too. I think the torch is still better, and even now I'm curious for the Forge. I travel with the Tornado, and I always take the Wand, not the torch, because it's so easy. I've set it to 315 celsius, and that's 20 seconds.#4468
Thanks for the tip!
Do you get a decent amount of flavor? I don't mind a light roast as long as it's tasty.
Does this only work for tornado, is it a 9mm to 8mm essentially?Hey all, I have some good news regarding the Tornado stem adapter I've been working. @Duba has tested it and we are good to go. I'm asking £25.00 for them and anyone wishing to purchase one will need to contact me directly as I don't currently have a webstore. Besides here, I can be found on IG or email: scruffy.woofer@gmail.com. Ta!
Only for the Tornado, to 8mm or 9mm.Does this only work for tornado, is it a 9mm to 8mm essentially?
I didn't keep the Tempest stem, which I didn't like, so I can't help you with that.@Duba Have you had the chance to try the Tornado on the Tempest stem?
If not did you find other stems cooled enough with a full bowl?
Thanks. A few people have said that now. A bowl that large, still smooth native is special imo.I didn't keep the Tempest stem, which I didn't like, so I can't help you with that.
I have no doubt it will work well with the Tornado too if you like it.
I was able to try it on my @Aezhenn wood and glass stem and Simrell's stinger and the 2 do just fine (full bowl).
As the Tornado's vapor is pretty smooth, many stems on the market will be enough to enjoy it, so there's nothing to worry about.
The adapter is nice and well done, as always with @ScruffyWoofers, thank's man!
i agree. It's special to me too, and to be honest, amazing and appreciable! Thanks. A few people have said that now. A bowl that large, still smooth native is special imo.
It was sold out by the time I made up my mind. I'm ready to pull the trigger as soon as they come back into stock.i agree. It's special to me too, and to be honest, amazing and appreciable!
I can't wait to hear your feedback, did you order it?
the Fusion stem is 9mm diam and this adapter is 8mm so i can't test for real bu i mounted it for fun, for you (with the short stem) :@Duba
Can you try the tornado out on the long fusion woody stem? I’d be interested how it performs and I think the rosewood and tornado combination will look very nice
That actually looks better with the mini stem! Much more balanced with the longer oven and the adapter. I think I will have similar setup to this, I’m hoping to use a bigger oring size on the adapter and use it with the fusion stemsthe Fusion stem is 9mm diam and this adapter is 8mm so i can't test for real bu i mounted it for fun, for you (with the short stem) :
