Yeah, I'm from the antipodes. As for the massive torch and watch combo, I vape outside and we get wild variability in temps here and it does have an effect on the timing, I need some sort of feedback from the vape itself to know I'm near the temp I want. Couldn't dial in the tornado when I didn't have usable clicks cos of this. Plus, shiny things exist and I'm easily distracted, a click brings my focus right back!

Ah that makes sense, I feel you on the outdoors and the temps, lots of silly music festivals next to wind power farm experiences here, a mixed bag of lollies flavour and roast wise with the butane vapes at the campsite over the years, good people missed some good songs from holding lighters too long in the wind
That sucks you didn't have proper clicks on your tornado, it would be a massive issue for me! I too absolutely need my clicks as a reference point on my butane DHVs, to the extent that I swap out to new torches or heat sources that make the click work as a solid extraction yard stick for me. Whether I like it or not the Old brain sack is apt to wander off on its own from time to time, time and time again but the click does the trick lol

Oh, I can definitely relate to the music festivals bit, got 3 over the next month (I'm nearly 40, there's gigs peppered inbetween plus work, I may die hahahaha). And yeah, was losing my mind trying to get the tornado to work until vestratto emailed back after a month of pestering with "bowls defective, we'll send you a new one". Although, I'm thinking now, I wonder what would happen if I used the defective bowl with the wand now...? Could be worth chucking it in without the stem and seeing what's what (without stem cos glass is soooooooo much easier to clean than the monster stem I got off scruffy).
