Tornado by Vestratto

Hey yall, sorry if this isn’t the right thread for this. I am strongly considering the tornado as my next pickup. For me the tempest borders on perfect. Only downsides for me is the relatively small bowl size and it could be slightly better on flavor.

All the tornado owners say this thing really punches. Which is great because I’m looking for a heavy hitter with a larger bowl. I’ve also heard that it’s not the best device in terms of flavor, so it is what it is on that one.

My concerns are it looks like it’s a bit difficult to heat properly with the wand? Also I see USA adapters on the vestratto website. Whats going on with those? It’s a 14mm connection so not sure why an adapter would be necessary.
I've not long got a Tornado and this device does seem to hit very well. The Ispire Wand works very well with it especially if you have the silicone DV insert. I set mine between 490 to 520. Mostly 520°F then put it into the Wand the opposite side to where the screen is. The DV insert cup I have between 2 to 5 mm from the bottom of top lip on the ispire wands preinstalled glass oven. I generally turn the wand on to auto mode after turning on, put the tornado in and wait until the red light stops flashing and turns to amber i then usually put it into a rig. The Vapvana BLB works well with this and let's one see the incredibly dense vapour the tornado produces. N now my nose is working properly and my taste has returned this thing is no slouch with flavour either. It's quickly become my go to device. I've never tried a Tempest so I can't comment on whether or not it's more or less flavorful than the Tornado, but I can say it now seems great for flavour especially when usimg it with the wand as it can easily be adjusted to your preferred settimgs. An IH for the Vestratto Tornado is definitely advisable although not needed as I did manage to get some tasty hits with a jet lighter just no where near as easy to repeat. When I first tried it I did think it was lacking in flavour but I'm now sure that was down to my heating with the lighter not being precise enough and obviously the blocked up nose didn't help. I cannot recommend the Vestratto Tornado highly enough. It definitely does seem to hit differently and harder than most others in my collection and the hits are pretty terpy too.

What are the defects again? Happy user from the pre-order days. I have no complaints.

I don't have any issues. What kind of problems are you having? How is yours defective?

I wonder what all these product failures are. I have zero problems with the device, it works as expected and as advertised (setting aside the atomiser marketing hyperbole). Probably one of the best I have from a pure vapour perspective, but I reach most for the Tempest just due to convenience.

From what I see..the satisfied customers far outnumber the Unhappy one..and I must admit that this is the only negative review that I have yet seen about this device....im intrigued.
Sorry, my comment was pertaining to the Forge that I purchased a year ago and still can’t use with the Tornado. No updates, no refunds, no upgrades, no communication whatsoever.

I've got a favor to ask of you Tornado owners...Would you please measure the black cooling disc that allows you to touch the Tornado while hot..I have Hammswaterworks outside in bong and I want to ensure a proper fit when I order a Tornado. The diameter of the disc is what I'm curious about...Thank you all...I send you all good vibes and love my family. 👊

Coming up with 31mm with manual calipers.

I load the bowl first as normal, then screw it in using the stem/wpa, upside down. Flip it right side up, and give it a tap so herb might fall down (if not full). Back it off a tiny and ready to rock 🤘

They’re gone again. Per Vestratto on IG it was another small restock. Larger restock coming “in a few weeks” once more inventory arrives.

Still loving this vape.
Have you tried Sneaky P, or Vape North. They had it a couple of weeks ago and I think they got a restock from the last batch.

I may of mentioned this already but you can buy Tornado adapters for stems in the 2 main stem sizes. Scruffywoofers sells them you can contact him through IG, there's also a link to his store there too if you need a stem. The adapters are really nicely machined and he's good on the customer service side too. I messed up as didn't have a stem ordered an adapter then bought the wrong stem adapter. When he found out he offered me a discount on the actual size I should of ordered lol. So I'll be getting the right size next month. I've put slightly bigger o- rings on the 8 mm size adapter and that works a treat but it's definitely a better fit using the right size adapter unlike me at the moment lol.

Underrated method for all of the butane hot stick vapes. All indicators are arbitrary, and are just a guide imo. It doesn't get more direct than using the vapour as a guide.
What depth are you using. My flare isn't even detection it

Hello everyone, Please tell me the inner diameter of the Tornado bowl, I want to understand if I can use a Tornado with a capsule, will the capsule fit inside the device?

At 10mm max, I can slide calipers inside to the bottom. Imagine this would add a good amount of restriction. Why, WhyWhyWhy? :ko:

Thank you! Hmm, I was expecting a larger diameter..The Vestratto has a diameter of 9.3mm, and my capsules have the smallest diameter of 10 mm..It turns out that neither the tornado nor the Vestrato capsules will fit..
