Thanks for the replies. I found one for 280 € from the Netherlands but I'm not sure about the shop (puffpuffpalace.com).
Maybe better be safe and spent 15 € more...

Tried to order from Vapefiend but kept getting some error with their processor Quickpay. Something about 3D Verification. Then I tried to order on TMs site and in shopping cart/checkout it showed my total was 350 USD but their payment processor said 350 GBP. They're making it pretty easy to not spend the $350 I didn't really want to spend anyway haha.

Meanwhile, back at the bat cave...I am still dealing with this guy that never sent me my mouth piece claiming he did...never arrived. He is pissed I stopped payment. What would you do? I asked my lawyer today. He said...you did the right thing. He called me a sceemer. He said I order mouth pieces from people and dont pay them!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLLLLLLLLLLL! WTF...omg...anyway, that is what I am dealing with. I said to him many many many times once I receive it. I will repay you. He has that in writing. He is going bonkers. The package never arrived...

Anyway, today I am using my TM2 with the Upline stem...that works very nicely actually. I really like it. I like the mouth part how it gets smaller and square.

Excited I managed to order a TM2 as soon as the email came in from Vgoodiez, but now I'm looking for a good WPA which accepts the Cooling unit, I saw This which says it'll fit, but I wanna see if there are any alternatives I might have missed.

I have that one and it is great. I don't think I have ever used the CU in any WPA although I have a couple that fit it. It seems entirely unnecessary to use a CU with any glass piece.

I buy from Highartisan and a few other people like Goodvibeboro or Roguewaxworks...I love Vgoodiez, I just purchased some things for my Vapman from them. Congratulations on your new TM2.

So you use the the bucket screen then? I've used screens in my Arizer products but they get gunked up and need changing regularly.

I've tried ordering from 3 different places now including la central vapeur. Guess I'm just not meant to have a TM2. Called my bank and asked why my card is declining and they said they're not the ones declining anything. Yet 3 separate unaffiliated websites are all declining it.

There's currently one listed in classifieds (not mine).

Yes I shared basket screens here, nice ones available on sale from Delta 3D Studios, if you have plenty they super easy to swap for a clean one, without even cleaning the stem yet... I don't know why you think you would not need to be cleaning the CU as frequently if not more as it gets gunked up...?

I'm unfamiliar with how the CU works, but I'm simply going off my experience with screens in Arizer stems. Still seems easier/better to use one device intended for that purpose, rather than a consumable part. This is all speculation on my part.

The cooling unit is kind of famous for how fast it collects resin and needs cleaning. You won't find basket screens to be any more trouble for cleaning. The unrimmed kind move around a little which can be annoying, but that stops as your stem gets a little sticky. I use a WPA with rimmed baskets and haven't cleaned it in months (but then I can be a bit of an animal).

Edit: Also, you can get plain 16 mm stems, with or without a ground joint, from glass blowing supply dealers for a few dollars. They are a little longer (100 mm) than the ones people normally buy and prefer.

Are you referring to the CU, as a device intended for that purpose? Sure it's not a consumable part if you're someone who throws away steel mesh screens instead of cleaning them to reuse...? But as said above, the CU is going to rob reclaim and flavor, with a complex metal maze, that has to be cleaned regularly as it becomes gunked up, even easier to be fully disassembled so it's a whole process... There's no reason to use it with a WPA unless you really need the extra cooling depending on what you are connecting it to? I also have not used the CU in a very long time, I prefer aftermarket all glass cooling stems with steel mesh screen, or WPA with steel mesh screen through hook or dry rig... All around much simpler for me

The CU has nuts and washers in them to cool down the vapor, but it clogs quickly. With a WPA, whatever you connect TM to, will cool down the vapor, but you need a screen (rimless or rimmed). Or....... you could use just half of the CU (no nuts or washers) to set/adjust the size of the bowl (if you wish to not use a screen).

Hello,
I tried just for fun to replace the nuts and washers with this tube. It seems to me that the original constellation obstructs the air flow a little too much....unfortunately, I don't have stainless.....
anyway i don't want to touch the author TM, he sure has it tuned....
but the temptation to create something myself according to my preferences was stronger...
the space encourages it!!!!!!!

For many the nuts & washers in the stock cooling unit fall out of favor quickly. Not me so much though more recently. With the stock configuration you can loosen the CU screw a bit as the top nut or washer (depending on your configuration) may impede some of the airflow if the screw is tightened all the way.

The nuts and washers do rob a lot of goodness. Over a year ago a removed them from my CUs and have been doing without them - until recently when I got my first aftermarket stems from The Rogue Wax Works, which just require a basket screen. I’m learning as I get younger :). Less is more though it’s great to have lots of options even with the cooling unit and its various configurations - or other options. :peace:

Anybody know which of the 2 basket screen presses from @Delta3DStudios fits the TM2 stems?
I don't know for a fact because my TM2 isn't here yet but I would assume it's the one made for the milaana/zion since those stems are much closer in size (or identical) than the vapes listed on the other press.

I'll add to the chorus that the stock CU and stem are less flavorful and more prone to getting gunked up than other options, but credit where credit is due: the stock set-up does a pretty good job of cooling given the pretty short stem.

Personally, the mess of cleaning the stock CU and the frequency with which cleaning is required turned me off to the stock set-up. The GRAV Upline Taster can go months without cleaning (as long as the sight of reclaim isn't an issue) and once it needs cleaning, you just drop it in ISO or grain alcohol, screen and all. No need for handling or disassembling parts covered in sticky reclaim. No o-rings to lose or break. It's just easier and tastes better too.
