TinyMight / TM 2

Been experimenting with the stems I made for the OG TM. The steel collars I use allow you to set a fixed distance for the load to the basket screen. This rough one is only 45mm long and sits 6mm above the screen. I find that you get better results from that Vs pushing it all the way down. Also prevents the stem pushing the screen through on the OG.

This one is using the stock CU. The collar acts as a fantastic heat sink. The tip doesn't even get noticeably warm really. It's machined to friction fit the stem and fitted hot so it grips as it cools. I have made glass airpath ones for the OG with terp pills so will probably do the same here once I've finished playing with lengths.

The stacked o rings are now my preferred finishing option as it allows me to press it to any 18mm bong without a WPA.

Even at 45mm long it still cools better than the stock with CU. Also makes it look a bit more like a 'normal' vape tank.

Oh really ! glad i came on here to say that, thanks I will listen out or feel out ? lol for that , i thought those buzzes were to let you know your bud is ready , which i ignored anddid my own thing lol
I hit my TM1 at level 5 , pure tasty lovelyness, I've pulled the rubber o ring off from the get go, i installed part of a rizzla wrap round in between the 2 metal tanks, when it get a bit too yellow i swap it out, rather have that than rubber, the bit inside the TM stays there dosnt seem to get hot there so no worries

There's also a vibration, when it is already on, when you press the button, to indicate it is up to temp and time for you to hit, you shouldn't really hit it before that...

I have them and use them. They don't come with/use an O ring. The capsules sit at the bottom of the stem under the CU.

Thanx Shit Snacks for posting this important piece of information. I understand that if you inhaling before the ready vibration, that it in can lead to damaging the heater. If someone can chime in and verify, I’d be most appreciative.

Can you elaborate on this? I don't understand how this would work, the o rings ensure correct air flow without leaks so I must be misunderstanding.

I don't know if I'd say it would damage the heater, but in the past more people who have accidentally combusted, had it happen because they were drawing before the warmed up vibration signal... This is because it could be warming up extra high temp, to reach your set temp faster, so if you inhale before the vibration, it could be much hotter than intended... Best to use proper!

Nice, I had a feeling we could trust that previous confirmation of PH, are you certain you are number one though?!?
Okay…. you can be #3…. :)
Cmon guys you know I’m next in line! :brow:
Well, I think Ville has at least another person or two working with him so perhaps promises were made to a few people. Regardless, TM is maturing and expanding and they’re trying to answer everyone. They do like us all! The TM2 is a testament to continuing to listen to us and feedback, and their customer service has been always great for me.

Here’s the last email reply I received about the TM2 (I haven’t yet tracked the status of my OG TM since late last week but assume it’s arrived for its board replacement):

“Hello ! Sorry for the late reply. Actually the new RED wood for the tinymight is Purpleheart. It is common for this type of wood to change shades in time ,especially when exposed to UV ,so i guess that's how it ended being more into the red tone.
To avoid any speculation there arent any dye's used on the wood of TM2. We just started a maling list for limited RED edition and you the first one added ! Thank for you patience !”

it's the cu that whilst is very effective steals too much goodness.

Hence one of the reasons I no longer use the nuts & washers in the CU. It’s also easier to clean it without them.

My glasses were thankfully repaired. No less by one of my best buds and the one who sold me his accidental second OG he forgot he ordered. Now that I can see again, lol, I’ll be watching for more great TM2 and TM reviews, and of course the prophetic RED TM2. And patiently waiting for the return of my repaired OG TM. :peace:

Sorry @Shit Snacks
is not true...
it often happens to me to start the hit before the buzz and there was never any combustion...not even a rise in the selected temperature.
The TM does not detect the hit...if you start inhaling before it continues to heat up with exactly the same intensity...what happens is it takes much longer to reach it

All right, it never happened to me, but many people here talked about it, never saw it refuted... I do think it would be fine way to use it, almost like an unregulated vape at max temp, if that fits with your style, but I think it much safer to just use it as intended, waiting for the vibration... That is how I always use mine and I see no reason not to personally, even if not too detrimental:2c::peace:

Of course it's for inhaling after the vibration...I've never said otherwise.
But it is a myth to say that TM combusts if inhaled before

Sorry you weren't exactly precise in your response to my quote, so you are saying that anyone who said that is wrong, it never happened to them, because it never happened to you? Myth or not I still think it's not impossible even though it hasn't happened to me, don't doubt could have happened to others each one and each person could be unique, but whatever

Hiking in a dark night reserve tomorrow. Low moonlight. Clear cloud cover. Perfect night to see all the stars.

I intend to lie on my back vaping bowl after bowl, until all 4 of my batteries are dead while gazing at the stars. I've never had a capable portable before, so I'm really excited.

/me thinks about giving @RedZep a couple of my batteries too because that sounds amazing
Very kind of you. I think 4 should do it!

2bh I'm normally blitzed if I do 1 batteries worth in one go. I know I can handle more herb when I'm in nature though. Never feel like i'm going to freak out. Impossible to feel anxious when you're staring into the cosmos.

Everyone should try it. Go into nature and take 4 times your typical dose. You'll have a great time!

Will be getting my hands on one of these portable powerhouses pretty soon.
I've enjoyed some of Ed's work on other vapes, but wondering what else is out there in terms of wooden stems for the TM2.
any other recommendations?
