I apologize if this has been asked and answered already but does anyone know if there is a stem that will fit the device and ends in a 14mm joint, kind of like the rbt stems but not 18mm?

I actually posted in here about how you can use the Imp WPA with a bit of silicone tubing around it to seal.

Is the place to check for the best reliable sellers and deals btw. All you need is 18/18.8/19 mm female

Does anyone know how quick the battery drains if left in standby mode? (like I keep doing)

I'm not sure how quick the battery would drain in session-mode, but I suppose you are referring to the on-demand mode anyway (right?). I did a little test (~30 minutes in blinking standby) and my charger showed that no power was used up (or at least less than 0.01 volts).

Does anyone have some issues with the TM website? I get a warning that it is corrupted and not save any longer because of fishing activities.

I'm hoping it's juts more of a safety thing. Three presses to unlock it and lock it. So hoping it doesn't drain the battery at all if you have turned the LED off. Who knows.

It seems pretty efficient like a mod box in standby mode. I have not seen any measurable drain on the cell when left in standby. But I always turn mine off anyway.....the 3 click is second nature to me and quick.
And you don’t feel like more power is consumed by switching it on and off than leaving it in standby? Or am I laboring under a misapprehension?

If there is any difference.....I doubt it is measurable as I said....you will only be effected by OCD if you keep starring at the blinking light...lol

I rotate 3 cells with my TM......so it's not even an issue to me..... so no rabbit hole for my brain on that one...haaa

I’ll perform a very scientific test today and I’ll report the results here

results of 0.1g

@3 - 2 short pulls - no vapor - 1/5 effect
@4 - 1 short, 1 long pull - very little vapor - 1/5 effect
@4.5 - 2 long, little vapor on the second pull - 1/5
@4.5 - 2 long, little vapor on the second pull - 1/5
@5 - 2 long, more vapor - material still quite green 1/3
@5 - 3 long, little vapor - 4/5 hi
@5 - 2 long - little vapor - 3/5 hi - green 2/3
Stirred
@5 - 3 long - little vapor
@5 - 3 long - no vapor
@7 - 3 long - vapor, burnt popcorn

so... i think the best way for me to use TM for microdosing is two long pulls @5 as many times as vapor is coming and then finish it @7

I guess I’m keeping this after all!

How far up the stem is your load?

I think he's asking the distance between the bottom of the stem's glass and the herb packed in the stem.

Wasn't that the plot from Good Will Hunting?

for those looking to use the TM with 14mm glass, here's a hack you can try using the silicone mouthpieces from the grasshopper:

the mouthpiece is clearly stretched; not sure whether or how long the silicone will tolerate that before it might rip. and obviously not a GoG connection, so you have to hold the TM up to the glass. but super easy to to do, allows you to use existing stem/CU instead of replacing the whole tube, and most importantly, enables huge rips and clouds even with small bubblers like planetvape's f-bomb (long-time favorite of mine).

mouthpieces can be purchased without a grasshopper direct or via resellers:

Herb will vape even situated above the unit's exterior. I kinda like watching it vape.
Right but plenty of the temps used didn’t elicit vapor for him that should have so I was wondering if the distance was too substantial.

plus, even after 2-3 long hits at any of those temps would have spent a 0.10g load I feel like.

Yeah it is worth remembering if you temp step, the more hits you take at lower temps the fewer cloudage you will see even at the higher temps. I like this because it also slows down a session, if I start at 5 or 6 I typically only take a few hits or so to kill the bowl (enough for my liking) though as I mentioned my typical usage is to take one hit at each setting when temp stepping by .5 from 2.5 to 6.5, rotating the stem in between too

@lauantaimakkara i probably use similar amounts like you, and i mostly use my tm as @Shit Snacks suggested a couple posts up: just enough to cover the heater. my sweetspot for this is 5.5, good taste, plenty of vapour. more or less full extraction of what is there in 1-2 hits, but i find this lasts me a good while. biggest plus for me is excellent taste every single time. i know you said you dont like the idea of reloading the stem after every hit. so.. maybe an unnecessary post, but .. here it is.
occasionally i will load more, about .1g for tempstepping, and start at 3 if not using the cooling unit, and probably around 4.5 if using the stock stem with cu. how many draws i will get out of this really depends on how i pace myself, maybe about 4? i dont think that there is this one correct way to do it, for me it depends on what i am after in the moment: it can be good to stay low, only move up the dial in small increments, maybe dont get a lot of vapour but instead low temp taste. if i feel more like being able to produce clouds, my tempsteps will be larger and i can move from 4 to 8 relatively quickly. there really is a lot of flexibility with this vape. i also have dynavap & am not regarding the tm as its replacement. they are good for different things. they feel like a good team.

Mine arrived today. Like others, I was surprised at how small it really is.

I had ordered 2 extra stems (1 short, 1 long) and (later) an o-ring set (12 white and 2 red). In the bag with the 2 stems were only 3 small white o-rings - not the o-ring set. He only missed it because I had added the o-ring set to my order a few days AFTER I had ordered the TM, and when he got to building mine he looked at my original order which didn't list the o-ring set - totally understandable. I emailed, and he's sending the o-ring set right out. Great CS!

I hooked the TM up to its cable to charge it up. It was probably already near 100%, but I left it until the red light went out anyway (took about 30 minutes). Disassembled the chamber to clean all parts with iso - came away with zero residue.

Maiden voyage: I put in a small load, set it on 6, and gave it a shot. Only kept the button down for a couple of beats but I got a much bigger cloud than I expected. The next one I only held it down for 1 beat and still got a decent cloud. I like to take smaller hits rather than huge rips - I prefer to only levitate about 2" off the ground. :)

It was a small load, and the third hit had a bit of burnt popcorn flavor so that was the end of test #1. So far, so good.

Tonight I get to test it in the middle of the night when I get up for a bathroom break and can't get back to sleep. Before bed I'll put in a fresh load and set the dial to 7 or 7.5 as a starting point (I want the higher temps for a sleepy buzz). This will be the real test, since it's the main reason I wanted the TM.
