If you search backwards you can see many reviews of these aftermarket stems.

I have a few that use boro .....
Thanks for the help!
I have zero experience with glass stems, balls and pills and I have searched but still had a hard time finding the info I was looking for, performance and comparisons for example. But it might have to do with me not using the correct terms, will give it a try again.
Just a reminder that these are great with...
Yes I'm already considering one of these, they've came up several times while looking through this thread! I'm actually looking for a few different solutions for different uses.
I've only used stock stem & cu since getting my tm, almost a year now

Of glass stems and balls and vapor path cooling, can we improve purity?
That which is pure is absolute and need not, can't be improved.

However, try this. A GRAV Octo-taster stem, quartz glass beads, the glass filter end for the mouthpiece plus secure basket screen, stainless but metal..
Now, if we could get glass screen to secure the scene at the business end.

I saw this on reddit

They're using the cap of the v2 dosing capsule as a ball-holder. I kinda wonder if someone could make something similar out of glass.

I mean you're still sitting on top of a stainless steel coiled heater and then another stainless steel screen.

You think as I do. I am not bothered by the basket screen, but some folk are serious about filtering their in breath from the out-foul of others' farts.
Or so some extreme clean vapor path partisans do self present.
For me, the 8omm stock stem and cooling unit work fine.
With two (better three) cooling units, one need never suffer having only a clogged unit at hand.
I find cleaning to be super easy, but then I have amply access to 95% rectified alcohol at low cost so a long cooling soak and shake is simple.

The cooling unit is very effective for the short path that the short stock stem provides. Removing all that hardware, however, particularly the nuts and washers, makes a big difference to flavour. All glass stems are a big step up in terms of flavour, but they are more fragile. I've been playing with a stem with 6 balls, and a stem with lots of indents (4 rows of 6 iirc) along the same length, they are for a different vape though, the 18mmK. I've found the indented one much more effective at cooling.

The Tinymight is still one of my favorite vapes...it is just a perfect unit. This last update that they made that included the stir stick really corrected lots of things...it's quiet on this thread now because everyone is satisfied, I take it. I love mine.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I'm looking to try some new options because my original (and only) stem broke

I agree about the cooling unit, I have been happy with mine and will keep using when I want small and discrete. How long are those stems for your 18mmk?

Hi
Can you briefly describe the improvements in TM2 compared to the first version? Type-C connector, second LED indicator, titanium mouthpiece, what else? Have the heating speed and power also increased?

The maximum was 70W at the og and in the 2 it's 75W.
The filter also changed, it's now metal plate with holes, which should decrease the changes of a ring-of-death roast like the TM1 used to do.
IDK what else
Edit: oh and the battery lead ofc

Color LEDs let you know the charge in the battery.
Diffuser between the oven and the bowl.
Attached stirring tool (but with the diffuser I've never had to use it)
75W of the heater vs 70W in the TM OG
The air path is improved, more isolated from the electronics.

I think that is all. On the negative, the unit is bigger. At first I was really concerned about the size (I even wrote it here months ago) but honestly it is not so bad, it is mostly a bit fatter.

Welcome to FC! Overall it is better fit and finish, if you use the search feature at the top, you can find every single change listed out here, there are way too many posts but the content is in here somewhere lol

There are also hidden changes, improvements that photos have reveled to me.

The new USB C port has been moved as can be seen. Unseen inside, on the other surface of the base plate, there is now a peg located below the battery contact area; the peg presumably stops the PCB from sagging there. These charge-port relocation and peg changes also back-up, reinforce the button micro-switch against the previous switch damage-failure.

A short spring that slides over the main bolt (under the base plate) has been added to (I assume) improve PCB- base plate electrical contact; addressing the problem that required the loosening and twisting and tightening without any losing, of the tiny-TM.

What I want to see is a turn off timer. I am beginning to be forgetful and it would be nice to know there will be only some number of minutes max draining the battery, no matter how little. Perhaps a button sequence to select one of three increasing time points or off.

PCB is black on my new unit too.

Indeed, this has been a MISSING feature from the beginning.
While in ON DEMAND mode, it’s not a huge deal as the LED has minimal battery drain, but…
… in SESSION mode, the HEATER is ON until the USER turns it OFF, not good for batteries (device should power off when they reach 3.? Low voltage), but continuous running of the heater, not good.
Since there is no way to upgrade the firmware, we must… BEWARE!!!

I use it mostly on session mode through glass. My session isn't longer than 5 minutes, as I use the small rimmed screens exclusively. I guess 5 minutes are not son harmful for the battery.

No issues using it as intended. Quality 18650’s can power up for a long time depending on power drain.

We were discussing the LACK of any AUTO SHUTOFF when in SESSION mode, you just have to REMEMBER to turn it off after every session. Almost all my electronic devices have some sort of time out for safety.

I thought with on demand the heater stays "warmed" at a very low temperature? I honestly don't recall where the hell i read that, but I know I read it somewhere. No clue on the accuracy of this.

Huh? When you are using in the standard mode, the heater is only activated when you press the button... When you are using in session mode, it is basically auto fire not session, just means the button is basically being held down for you, automatic heating element without holding down the button, to whatever temp you set it... (I only use it if I am going to turn it off to fully clear the hit otherwise there is no way to clear it without removing the stem if you don't cut power to the heater like you normally would manually)

Yeah I guess, but I'd use it most people are using the v3 pro, session as autofire for 1 hit: turn on session mode and let it get to temp, start drawing, before you done- turn off the device while drawing so the heater cools down, done.

I understand, thanks, I switch it off almost every time I finish, or at least that's the plan, as I put it in a bag with other vapes/accessories and the button has been accidentally pushed/keep pushed few times.

Got my TM2 today and ran a couple bowls, yup it’s the deal.

I did short glass bowl at 6 and was amazed at the flavor with great vapor production. Reminds me of my Splinters, but better and easier. Glass does get pretty hot and need to be carefull.

2nd bowl 14mm glass screen wpa at 5 using a bent stem mp, right on, right on, right on, nice flavor loving it. Enano silicone guard works good for protecting digits from hot glass.

Need to procure some fresh herb to clear my sinuses. Very happy, gonna be fun testing this thing out.
