I'm currently using the High Artisan 4 pill stem for my TM2 using temperature setting 8 and I'm impressed with it. I ended up flooding my lungs with vapor on my first hit using it due to the wide open airflow that I wasn't use to with the stock CU. The stock CU, considering it's small size, is very efficient at cooling but gunks up way too quickly for me to be considered acceptable. These pill stems alleviate this issue and it still feels very portable to me when comparing it to jhooks or extra long stems. The stem can fit perfectly into a round plastic joint tube for traveling. The wooden mouthpieces that fit the pill stems aren't really neccessary unless you plan on sharing your TM and hitting it back to back together. The cooling effect and flavor is also better (less stainless steel in airpath). The v2 dosing capsules fit it perfectly, sitting flush with the end of the stem, you don't need to use any basket screens when using the capsules. Or you can use a rimless or rimmed basket screen. I prefer the rimmed basket screen as I never have to adjust it with picking tools after emptying a bowl like with the rimless baskets which tend to slide around inside the stem. The rim part of the rimmed basket screens are slightly smaller in diameter compared to the stem so the rim doesn't catch the o-ring when pulling the stem out from the TM. For about $30-40, just get it. It's my daily driver and I will never go back to using the stock CU again. Can anyone who owns/used an array of TM/TM2 stems compare the cooling and functionality of the High Artisan 4 pill? Thanks in advance!
