Sessnet,
I'd love to hear about cleaning out the residual hash when the bowl is dead. No hurry, I'll let you finish it. ;)

Posts like Sessnet are exciting the hell out of me. I think my Herb adapter will get lots of use as it's replacing my mflb (I'm thinking it will be an easy adaptation), no experience with concentrates tho so I am expecting to do quite a bit of experimenting. Hope my package gets here by Friday.

Here is a question for TV~ do your e liquid atomizers work with standard 510 mouth pieces?

Yes indeed!

Careful here, I don't think that was asked quite right? As I understand it the atomizers a guy might buy to run on his Revolution body are high resistance to deal with the higher voltage, I don't think they'll do well on standard E-cig batteries?

Given the right resistance/voltage match of course, all is Jake.

**ummm I think you misread the question, I was asking about mouth pieces, not if the atomizers would work on a battery. Although, they do sell the standard atomizer on the website.

Be prepared for a learning curve when moving from the LB to the TV. You need to hit the TV much harder than the LB and it's more difficult to do at first than you might imagine.

@thermovape - you mention in the TV disassembly video that the metal piece that the thermocore threads into is bonded together, but on mine it unscrews all the time and is becoming bothersome as I try to unscrew either the cap or battery compartment , but instead this piece turns exposing the thermocore. Please help.

Edit- here's a pic

Is it more like the iolite then? My friend has that and it hits pretty good, I just hate the constant hissing.

Hopefully TV can chime in on how to prevent this from happening. I believe it is from over tightening the device after you put in new batteries. So next time you go to screw the TV back together once it stops moving don't force it to go any farther.

The deal with the bonded interface is that we use as little of the bonding agent as possible. For those that are curious it is Loctite 4014, Prism (R) Medical Device Adhesive, Part# 20269. Initially i was using a truly miniscule amount but have since found that a little bit more is required. A couple of the early early units experienced the near side of my ginger application of the adhesive and have come apart (2 of hundreds). We will send a replacement right out. The ThermoVape works fine with the parts un-bonded, it's the same parts, it just requires a little checking to make sure the connection is tight.

One fun idiosyncrasy of my design is that those are left hand threads. I intentionally did this to absolutely prevent anyone from over-tightening the interface. Unfortunately that makes for a little cattywompus tightening sequence if un-bonded and unaware of the LH threads. -The price of ensuring they wouldn't be overtightened and rendered unserviceable.

Either way, just let us know and we'll take care of you.

Cheers!

So, the hash came out of the Rev great! It was cooled down and I just picked it out, sort of like Bazooka Joe consistency when cold. It sort of balled/melted together and now looks half darker.

I tried self made keif (lots of plant fiber) sort of what you would find in the grinder, except I force more through. KIEF VAPORIZES EVEN BETTER AND TASTES AMAZING!!!! Probably because I made it out of several of the best types I could find. So yeah - kief works great too. I love this thing so far, even more!

I tried some 5-6 year old self-made "sort of" oil I had sitting around. Now was the perfect time to try. It was a mess to say the least. I tried mixing it with the kief just to get it down to the bottom, since it was less of an oil, and more of liquidy taffy, like melted sugar (sorry it's hard to explain). Worked ok but I don't know how much I got down there it seemed to stick to the sides. Plus - I am a complete noob with oil and wish I could try some of the stuff many of you have access to.

So, then, after 3 DIFFERENT CONCENTRATES - I just put the Rev in some boiling water - wiped it down with a little ISO, and now it looks brand new (minus the fact the white ceramic got stained).

One thing I want to stress is that the taste is AMAZING. A ThermoVape is like listening to a CD on superb headphones, versus combustion which is like a low quality MP3 with $1 headphones. You can really experience everything. Except there is huge vapor clouds.

I wish I could get my hands on some real oil, or hash, or anything else. Everything was handmade. So if you guys are bummed out because you didn't get your Rev today, stay strong! At least you have something to put in it :)

Quick question for TV & company:

How is the airline industry(TSA) dealing with these devices currently? :uhoh: Last April I had opportunity to go thru security with e-cigs, my bag was searched and it was actually my ear buds that made them search me. (MFLB was in my checked luggage :D) Anyway, I was wondering if there are any new protocols (such as the device has to be dis-assembled and juices etc are put in with toilet items) Or have you heard stories to the contrary where people have had devices confiscated etc...

I realize this question may seem a little out of left field, but these are legitimate concerns while thinking about the device being a legitimate medical item. More people are getting used to seeing e-cigs and the like, so I am really just interested in hearing about how your products are perceived. :ninja:

Cheers to you and your team, I look forward to seeing what you have developed for the portable market!

Great Scott!
Went to order a TV while bored at work. Got all the way through then realized you don't accept paypal and my credit card isn't with me right now. I don't REALLY have any money right now so this may be a good thing lol. I SHOULD be patient and sell my MFLB first but we will see.

I just ordered my ThermoVape with the Revolution Adapter and metal mouthpiece. I ordered one earlier this week but my wife flipped out saying "You don't need another vaporizer." So i had to cancel the order. This time i am hiding the order until it arrives at my door. It will be easier to deal with her yelling at me while hitting my ThermoVape/Revolution. :brow:

Didn't you just sell / trade your other one? I remember you asking me if i wanted to trade the Wispr i was selling for your TV. I didn't want one then but now i can't wait to get it. I changed my mind after reading other FC members reviews.

You can tell her "I'm sorry, here... Run over it - with the car, then throw down the parking lot, and finally throw it in this here fire pit."

Then when she walks away happy - you can reclaim it :)
