Discontinued Thermovape Cera

I'm sure someone would snap them up....I don't mind a slight blemish if it's priced accordingly.

I'm curious about what kind of blemishes the rejected ceramics have. If they're not that bad, why not offer some blemished Ceras at a discount of $25 - $50?
TV, actually said that they want high quality no matter what for they're customers before they send out any little blemishes to they're high worthy customers :D

Why ? I'm quite confident that they'd want to return them as defective merchandise to the guys finalizing the process.

Easy answer: I need an ecig soon, very soon, or I might buy a pack of smokes. A blemish on the ceramic body wouldn't be a big deal to me as I plan to cover the body w/a skin.

I'm sure that there would be some ass somewhere that would try that too....but if they had some sort of disclaimer box ticked at point of sale and a record kept at HO they could maybe knock that back...:)

@VapeStl...get a Provari, great e-cig.

I believe the ceramic can be ground up and reconstituted, no? If that's the case, then it makes sense for them to reclaim the material. Not to mention, their margins sound slim, so accepting faulty pieces to sell at a discount would probably hurt them more than help.

Looking forward to your first reports. It will be interesting to see if there's any practical difference between using the two different battery technologies with your Cera.

I think the differences will be minor faster heat up shorter life 2250 the opposite is true with the 2900 longer heat up not much and long run times.
I'm sure it will be a diffrence but its probably very minor

Were going off topic here...;)
I don't think that's harsh at all...going by the ticking's off that I've had in my short period here.
I have never had any trouble at any other forum discussing off topic things within reason, in threads elsewhere...Marx never ruled Russia with as much enthusiasm...lol.

I know what the next comment will be..."Go elsewhere etc"....but seeing as this place is mainly frequented by my U.S cousins and I presume that the ruling powers that be may also be the same, I obviously don't know but presume.
I'm thinking, the U.S has seemingly always stood for democracy and freedom of speech etc and they try and persuade/force that on various country's around the world what the heck is going on in here ?

P.S

No Dis-Respect intended to anyone, just merely discussing my thoughts.

This is way off topic and against the rules, and since you and I had a long private conversation about it I know you're well aware of this, yet you do it anyway.

It seems we have to explain this over and over again. This is not a democracy. When you registered you agreed to rules, including these:
  • Rules are interpreted and applied at staff discretion.
  • Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member.
  • If you don’t like the rules or the moderation, feel free not to visit.
You are not entitled to "freedom of speech". You are a guest of vtac, who owns the forum, and in exchange for his hospitality you agreed to be subject to the rules, which include deciding whether you can post, where you can post, and what you can't post.

Lots of threads have gone off topic here and corrected themselves. The original Cera thread seemed incapable of doing that, even after repeated attempts to get people to behave. It got so bad that another thread was opened just to accommodate the off-topic crap, and still there were people who couldn't manage to control themselves and so the thread got closed.

People who post every few minutes or every day about how hard it is to wait and how awful TET is for not giving frequent progress reports are not entitled to an endless stream of complaints. Believe it or not, there are other people who come to this thread looking for help and information, and they have to wade through page after page of useless posts about where someone is in the delivery queue. This off-topic nonsense lowers the value of the thread considerably, to the point where we deemed the original Cera thread worthless. That will not be allowed to happen again.

For your information, Marx never ruled Russia or anywhere else. vtac is a Canadian and so am I. Here's a three day sabbatical to let all this sink in. When you get back from your vacation, if you want to continue calling me or any other mod a dictator (even in a backhanded way like this time) then do it in a PM. Or take a longer vacation, your choice.

Seriously Mark, did you not just read what Pak wrote above?

OF, would you recommend cleaning the unit when it arrives or would a quick burn off do the trick?

With LL - I'm interested in hearing how many seconds until first visible vapor, with a slow and steady draw, then how many extra seconds it takes to hit the sweet spot with lots of vapor production (not exhaled clouds, I'm talking small sips of thick throat-tickling vapor). Then maybe how many more seconds until "clouds", but really that's just silly ;)

By what I saw in the videos, it seems fairly similar to the T1...pulling heat through the chamber initially followed by a long, steady draw. Noah was going as long as 30 seconds, and I am going to play with that number when I first get mine.

Of course I'd recommend a cleaning if you were going to quote me.....but I never did. I wiped the bowls out with a bit of ISO before powering up the LL cores (just to be sure I guess), the only oil cart went straight to loading. Then again, Tim had just cleaned it out before giving it to me an hour or so before.

So the sure way would be to do a full clean on it, but I don't think it's all that important or necessary and I personally don't.

Besides which it's kinda fun to fire it up and watch.....

Hi FCrs,

On the road-so a quick post thanks to Starbucks wi-Fi. Some CERA porn at TET. One is a pic of a bunch of ceramic LL 'bowls' and the second of the SS 'band' that the end cap gets screwed onto. I'm afraid I'm not privy to any 'assembly' updates, but Tim was kind enough to allow a 'photo opp'.
