Hi everyone,

I’m a long time lurker here on FC and just signed up yesterday to share my joy and excitement with you.

Got super lucky and snagged Toad #187 yesterday. I love the color green so this more than I could‘ve asked for.

How are the early Toads holding up after years of usage and how does it look today compared to when you got yours?

I really have to make the effort to reread the translator results before copying and pasting!!

so... not too bad if he stays in front of the door...😉



in any case, it's the cold war at home... the mother of my children stays at home... so she is the greatest hope... or the greatest danger.

regarding the use of the toad... you have nothing to fear in the long term! There is no more durable vaporizer (among those that run on batteries).

washi paper repairs itself when there is a scratch or a small shock... it's Wolverine...

and the button is made in such a way that it is immortal.



my toad that is over two years old has a slightly different texture than the one that is a few months old.

the oldest has a slightly grainy texture. It remains very fluid despite everything.



you just have to remember to regularly maintain your vaporizer, by polishing the internal metal parts... but you will see it because the performance starts to drop when it is time to maintain it!!!

thanks for the welcome and for sharing your experience with the Toad :)

I‘m on page 22 atm and it’s so nice reading back on the story behind this piece of art.

FC is truly a great community, I’m glad I finally joined as an active member!

I will allways be grateful for him selling and me being able to buy his toad. I knew it was a legend and that made it special but it was in sorta bad shape. And Dan of course knows the history and thought it to be cool that it lives on with a 2nd life.

it's not always fun being French speaking and using google translate... I'll have to stop using it and trust myself... but since I'm always stoned when I come on Fc... it's is the easy way out!

"the handles" are "the sleeve" you were talking about...

So...

"it's not "recommended" to wax the sleeve. it's more for wood. but you can put some on the washi occasionally, it doesn't hurt them!
personally, I apply a micro layer when I wax the wood!"

I take it you don't have to do it, but you put a tiny bit and it doesn’t hurt.

Do you understand English like reading and you’re using the translator just to talk and type ? Or are you posting all our reply’s into Google translate also ?
Either way it’s impressive. Do you use a lot of concentrates with your toad ? Or only flower ?

we're here, that's for sure!

I use an automatic translator. that I cancel if I don't understand a translated sentence or if I feel like I'm missing a nuance.
usually it works, but I've had 2-3 surprises lately!!
this computer gymnastics combined with my THC consumption makes me waste a lot of time!!

As for concentrates, I stopped consuming them shortly after discovering... not for me, I like flowers too much!

I don't even think I tried with the toad.
I made a lot of hash and CBD flower sandwiches last summer. it worked very well.
if I used it with concentrates it would be upside down with a j hook.
Are you planning to use yours with concentrates?

I don't know if there are other users who use it with concentrates?

Dan had discussed and thought about a radiator, or a modular system for concentrates... but it remained an idea!
