If you ever decide to have these for sale let us know, I would gladly take one pequia.
I would do it but they are not perfect and i can’t do all the process by my own. (For example, the pequia one would be harder to do cause its density…)

These are all so nice! Are you still just doing these with a drill? I wish I could help with the mystery wood type.
Thanks! Yes I do! No dremel, no lathe  maybe one day i will get a mini lathe to make stems. It is funny and interesting (and i saw some interesting techniques, like the marquetry).

Any tips for setting screen depth without the tool? I stupidly misplaced the C shaped tool upon the V2s arrival. Its been a hectic last 30 days with the wife in the hospital. Things are slowly returning to normal now that shes home though.
If only I could locate that dang tool!
I think i got it into 2nd screen position with an S&B brush. Any tips would be appreciated!

Also, having trouble unscrewing the ball retaining screen. But I think that is more of having the incorrect screw driver for the job as well as bad arthritis. Im determined to get some ruby and quartz in there though.
Ill be searching for some eye glasses repair screwdrivers. I tried the MH reload screwdriver and tool that came with the V1. I might not have been applying enough pressure looking back.

Apologies for the rant

I’ve just been putting my thumb on the mark and using it like that. Also for the ball retaining screen I used the v1 tool and that worked well.

I've been setting mine like I did with my Dynavap tips (before the reloads came along), I use something from the top, in my case a little steel scoop which has a flat bottom, your brush will do though, and something like a Dynavap condenser from the bottom to almost hold the screen between them, then move the bowl and feel/listen for it clicking in place.
It's awkward but works.
Definitely looking forward to getting this tool set.

I hope your wife is doing better, I remember you mentioning this before, glad she's back home.

I used the reload screwdriver. I was a bit worried too but you just need to give a firm anticlockwise twist and it will open up.

3mm rubies are so good in the T2, especially for big bong rips 🫠

I prefer them for the smaller bowl settings. I do think the zirc are the best for clearing the full bowl setting without having to go up to a really high temperature on the wand.

Am I right in thinking that because the wood sleeves are stabilised, we won't need to wax them etc?

What's the best way to clean burnt gunk off the cap?

I think the Tempest did it's job too well last night. My stoned ass must have forgotten to screw the cap to the tip. When I pulled it out of the wand, the cap fell onto my comforter. Surprisingly the comforter survived, but the cap is a mess. There is even gunk on the VI sticking it in the middle.

Is there a decent way to clean the cap without scratching it all up?

Thanks!
