thinking about making the bowl golden as well
now i cant get the song out of my head"Golden brown texture like sun
Lays me down with my mind she runs
Throughout the night, no need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown"
And very pretty it looks too!
Sorry for the trouble, you can start using it, I’ll sort it out for you from the UK. I’m aware of these issues now and improved the QC, these shouldn’t happen anymore with the US orders.Hey ppl, I just received my Tempest V2 and I have some "not nice things" with it:
1st: The heatshield is scratched. On the widest part of it. Not one, but at least 4 scratches. Not really a problem, at least is the problem I care less but feels weird being a 250€ device. Yes, I know that titanium is prone to scratch, but it's a brand new unused device.
2nd: Can't use the reload magnet to open it handsfree anymore, it just spins and spins. Seems that the screw touches directly on the magnet instead the whole head and it can't be further screwed in.
3rd: The VI marks on the housing seem unpolished and quite rought, not at the point to be able to cut myself with it, but I'm quite sure it can scratch things.
4th: For god's sake, I can't open the ball chamber, seems totally stuck. Using reload's debowler and a proper screwdriver
I noticed all of this (in that order xD) while I was trying to do the first cleanup. Everything was properly packed btw.
Annd now I am here overusing the V1 with rubies dreaming about the V2 with Rubies
(won't risk using it and then not being able to clean it properly till I talk with customer support on EU shop in case I have to send back the whole device)
Damn, the wait is real xD
I run 2.5mm gem cut rubies, I enjoy how they tighten up the airflow just a bit.Is there any consensus on the different profiles of the balls/Rubie's?
I am currently using the zircs and wonder if they are right for me. I prefer long sessions, sipping from time to time with MTL hits.
Hello, I also received it from the EU site, mine also arrived with scratches on the shield and head, unfortunately the titanium scratches very quickly and the cardboard packaging does not help, so even if you take another one, it will be scratched, but don't worry even if it is made of striped titanium it is very strong and that's why it was chosen. The grooves of the indicator are as rough as in your photo when I pass my fingers, I feel them on mine, it's a little less pronounced than you, but I see it, so I think it's normal. And for the screw on my part, I had to screw it well, otherwise with the magnet, it tended to unscrew, maybe it could help you. But it's an incredible device @Brenyo did a great job and for that I want to drop the little problems, you wouldn't be disappointed with its performance. For the screen where there are balls, I made a heater, then I managed to remove it because it was blockedHey ppl, I just received my Tempest V2 and I have some "not nice things" with it:

I've been looking for gem cut rubies for a while, where did you get yours?I run 2.5mm gem cut rubies, I enjoy how they tighten up the airflow just a bit.
Can't remember if links are cool here. Got em from the guy who sells the stunner. If you Google "vapor solutions stunner", it'll bring you to his website. Hes got some really nice stems as well. MGVSolutionsI've been looking for gem cut rubies for a while, where did you get yours?

I'm also curious about how the rubies perform in the V2, but I put them in the V1 when I got them and I absolutely love them! They feel so much better than the 2.5 mm zirconia balls and the open airflow is great. Next time I clean one unit, I will put the 3 mm zirconia balls in the V1 and the rubies in the V2, and I will report back for science! Is there any consensus on the different profiles of the balls/Rubie's?

I made mine fairly tight and its still just rotating on the magnet. I can only open it with the inner tool on the reload and the screw is leaving scratches there. I don't see a bur that has to be removed, I think the hole would need to be countersunk a tiny bit more? Unfortunately I don't have a drill for countersinking that's small enough2. The screw is either not tightened down properly or there is a tiny tiny burr trapped under the screw that needs removing.

Anyone experiencing this issue, please send me an email, and I’ll arrange for a replacement part once they arrive in approximately 4-6 weeks. First, please fully remove the screw and clean the countersink with a Q-tip and the bottom of the screw head to make sure that it’s not just a piece of metal. I’ve found a few where only a new screw resolved the issue or where the countersink was not deep enough, though this is very rare.same experience
It's for example about draw resistance. More air = better is not always true. If that was the case you would try to breath in really hard, considering that also leads to more air.Hey everyone, got my Tempest 2 recently and it's been really good!
Maybe a dumb question but what does changing the "open-ness" of the cap-airflow holes actually do? I mean it changes the amount of air coming in but wouldn't you always want it more open for more air, so more vapor? I'm probably misunderstanding the function in some way...
I've set the airflow holes at the cap at around halfway open currently.
Also, instead of putting my finger on the stem-airhole, can I just fully close it or will air still get in that way?

Some people prefer airy draws, some prefer tighter, more joint like draws
One for sale in the classifieds. Couple more on the ent exchange.I so badly want a v1 body![]()
Are they both discord channels? I've had a look on ent exchange couple days ago and wasn't much in the UK sectionOne for sale in the classifieds. Couple more on the ent exchange.
