No. I talked about the v1 upgrade kit. The one I just linked. It's to upgrade the v1. It will start being sold this month or next month.
Not to upgrade the beta unit.

You are talking about the beta upgrade kit which was called beta upgrade kit.

Hence my original question - couldn't see why you didn't just say that, but no biggie.

But I still don't see where your pain comes from. As best I can tell, @Brenyo's improved it further and offered the bits at a discount, and you're suddenly unhappy? The T1 is no different because of that, it's just some better bits to stick on it - we all bought our T1's as they came, you can't expect perfection as I said, and someone who strives to continue improving something is a good thing in my book. The upgraded bits are an option for them as wants, but no-one has to buy it.

I don't know any manufacturer that constantly improves something and then gives it away for free (or dirt cheap), making a loss and maybe never producing a new idea because of that loss? Or did you feel the T1 didn't work very well and needs this kit to become acceptable? I guess that could explain it, though I never thought of the T1 like that myself.
Do you actually have any other data on the kit, the website seemed to have little that I could see.

I don't really see your point. If you release a new version not even a year after the original product came out I would expect an upgrade pack for people who bought the original product at a significant price reduction.

You claimed that you cannot expect "perfection out of the box when playing with new ideas". That's why I said it was developed and tested for years. It's not like someone made this in his garage, sold it to people and now gets feedback for the first time.

You said the time it is out does not matter. Would you also think it would have been fine if a new version was released 1 week after the v1 was sold out, together with an upgrade pack 25% of the price of the new product? One day? One minute? Where is the cutoff?

There is no cutoff. New ideas arose from V1 feedback, leading to producing these new ideas, now planing on selling them. These new ideas are also easier to produce. Have you noticed how long V1 has been out of stock?

Now to address the main point, upgrade kits are a gift sent from the vape gods. He has so obligation whatsoever to produce an upgrade kit. Judging from the nearly 400 pages of this thread, there will be a long list of happy buyers without an upgrade kit at all. Get a clue dude. Honestly insane to see what some people complain about

As a newbie to all this, I’m honestly shocked at how responsive and attentive @Brenyo has been here. I’ve been in other high dollar niche communities where even getting a response to a DM has been like pulling teeth, if you even get one. Dudes running a small business with clients all across the world, and (from what I can see) is doing a pretty good job. Maybe the vape community is different, but I’m pleasantly surprised that he even offered these upgrade kits. Most other makers I’ve interacted with wouldn’t have even offered that and would instead just push the newer, more expensive product. it’s not like the v1 tempests are unusable, right?

Also, silly question, the stem airflow, the v2 option is open and closed right? Wasn’t sure if the small slit in the air port served a functional purpose.

Nailed it. Brenyo is the man. He’s not only active here. He responds frequently on Reddit too. Him, Vgoodiez and The Rogue Wax Works are the best that I’ve found in the dry herb vape scene when it comes to customer service. They’re all extremely responsive and helpful to any questions/concerns anyone has.

I haven’t been closely following the nitpicking here about the upgrade kits from some people, so maybe I missed something. But it all feels so petty in the grand scheme, so it’s not even worth bothering with, in my opinion. And you hit the nail on the head that most companies would just let the V1 of a product fall off into nothingness, and push the newer version harder. I’m glad Brenyo isn’t doing that, because there’s a ton of happy V1 owners out there who will benefit from the upgrade kit.

Im impressed how well calibrated are my snap discs on the Tempest V2 with 2.5zirc balls as heat matrix.
Heating with the wand on 320•c until time out and 0.1 on the bowl.Ive being loyal to b2b 0.1 bowls
I get 2minutes session, 45seconds later I get the first click and 2'30" I get the second click, its means the cap is ok to be touched bare hand, on the T2 there isn't need to use SS as heat matrix at all the excessive heat only drys up the throat and it was taking over 3 minutes to snap back the second click as I it is calibrated to snap when is good be touched.
Ive stick with the rubies on the T1 such great flavour with around 1'30" sesh, excited to test the upgrade with the rubies may reach 2" sesh also.

A beautiful natural wooden sleeve replete with enough crazy grain to keep a stoned mind (well, my mind at least!) occupied for hours, has just dropped on mah doorstep!
And very nice it is too! I wooden[sic] know how to criticise it!

And looky here! Even my spending just a measly 40 squid and he still can't resist throwing in some spare bowl screens!
There are some other great vapes been designed, and then the company lets itself down with poor customer comms alone, never mind the rest. And the funny thing is 80% of it only costs 20% effort and yet turns the company into something much loved and defended as with MH.

So, who's going to be brave (and skilled) enough to cut out those holes found in the metal sleeves with the wooden ones?

I'm tempested (I tried, I've already got my coat, and I'm on my way out the door) to do so, but maybe not with the ones I was gifted.
I'll buy more and try. I even got a new Dremel type tool not long ago to try it out on.
