I don't have a tempest to compare but I love to use my Stunner with the wand. I run a 800f cycle and then either rip or add 5-15 seconds depending on how dark of a roast I'm looking for.Does your stunner work with the Wand like the Tempest?

Here's a rip vid on my IG as well, heat up times are about 4-5 seconds longer with a torch than the titanium caps, but the heat retention is quite a bit better

@tinctorus I just tried the preorder link and it said the product no longer exists?I can't wait to get my preorder! This cap should work great with my homemade induction heater!
What’s your heating method I really like my Stunner but it’s a bit hit and miss for me , when the stars align it’s amazing but a bit inconsistent for me@tinctorus I just tried the preorder link and it said the product no longer exists?
I already find the OG cap is pretty good with the Wand but stainless should have even better thermal properties.
I still love my Stunner. I haven't even been tempted to get a Tempest bc it works so great. No visual indicator, no click disks, no airflow adjustment but it's very forgiving to heat and it gives me a great roast every time.
I'm using the Wand freehand exclusively. I've never torched it.What’s your heating method I really like my Stunner but it’s a bit hit and miss for me , when the stars align it’s amazing but a bit inconsistent for me
I really need some tips ….
What torch are you using and for how long ?
I have the OG Stunner head and have only ever used the Wand. Lately I set it to max 800F and heat until timeout (solid yellow light) but YMMV. I think it takes around 45sec with full batteries. A bit longer for less charge.I have a wand but I’ve never used it with the Stunner , just thought that it would drain the batteries too quickly as it’s quite hefty compared to a Dynavap for example
What settings do you use please ?
Thanks so much for your reply . You’ve really covered everything thereI have the OG Stunner head and have only ever used the Wand. Lately I set it to max 800F and heat until timeout (solid yellow light) but YMMV. I think it takes around 45sec with full batteries. A bit longer for less charge.
I always heat with the Stunner tip pointing up so no flower can fall in the heater. I have the tip of the Stunner (gently) resting against the glass lip of the Wand from underneath. You need two hands to do this unless you're using a WPA or tripod or something.
The killer feature about using the Wand for me is the ability to heat while inhaling. Not something you can really do with a torch I think? I take a low temp delicious sip or two about 25s into the first heat cycle. Who needs an indicator when you can sip while heating? Also, the first sip will make the weed sticky and less prone to falling into the heater. I always like keeping the tip at least horizontal or pointing up a little.
Here is the key after the Wand times out: Control your first few inhales. Make them LITTLE sips so you can figure out just how hot the air is. The nice thing about the Stunner is that even if you overheated the tip, you can either wait a bit until it cools or try inhaling just tiny sips until you feel you can pull harder without combusting. You'll know by the taste of the vapor just how hot things are.
After the Wand times out, if you don't clear the bowl in one cycle, you can just bring the Stunner back up to temp in around 10s by using the Wand like re-lighting the tip of a cigar. All while puffing away testing for vapor to return.
After the tip and bowl are hot, I don't heat until timeout anymore. I treat it like a re-heat, testing for vapor while I'm heating with the Wand. Once the vapor starts flowing, heat for 1-3s more then stop. I've never combusted.
Edit: It does drain the Wand quickly, but I get around 3-4 bowls with fully charged good batteries like the P28A.

Thanks! Just pulled the trigger. I like the OG Titanium cap so fingers crossed that this one retains heat even better. Got the same ZrO2 balls.MGVSolutions

This should work!
No it won't really heat up any faster in a IH, but the heat retention is much much better as well as giving folks with titanium allergies a new optionIs the SS cap supposed to heat up faster with an IH? I'm thinking about picking up the stunner; and I've read here the the OG cap works just fine, but can take around 45 sec or so...
The carbon stems are about 105-110mm long for and the mouth piece is removableGonna be ordering myself a Stunner. Can someone with a carbon fiber stem tell me approximately how long it is, with or without the Stunner on it? And is the mouthpiece part of the stem or is it o-ringed on?
And does anyone know if the stem will fit an Anvil with or without the USA? Thanks!
