thanks!
I'm lost both rods are the same length. How can it not work?
I believe it's the same as most other W9 stuff - 601 threading. What kind of thread is on the minicron? Rather than buy a spare coil for my vaped nano from ruvaped, I might grab the minicron light to try it out while I save up to get the persei fixed and the herc etc.
How does this work exactly? Mechanicals aren't supposed to have electronics in them, that's why they're called mechanical. Are you including a kick of some sort? The 8 is a full mechanical unit that has a replaceable circuit board, basically making it no down time at all. Just have the spare parts and bam your never going down.
Hey bro, I read in some descriptions that they include a removable fuse. A bunch of my mechanical mods came with a fuse of some sort that you can use if fully mechanical operation is less important to you than safety (I have never, ever used one, but I might if I was going to stack batteries in a mechanical I.e. 8 at 7.4 volts). I also see these segelei 2cents fuses on some of the PV sites. How does this work exactly? Mechanicals aren't supposed to have electronics in them, that's why they're called mechanical. Got the minicron lite coming. Only thing that sucks is it doesn't seem to come with the titanium cart. Even my vaped nano from ruvaped has a ti coil now. I'll use it for a bit and replace it with the ti kiss cart whenever I order some w9 products next.
@Mr Mellish- don't worry about the Omicron- it takes a 14mm battery & doesn't have the power of the 18mm batteries that power the Cera and Persei. Don't worry about the Triton either, as it's "In Development" and not available for sale yet.
The Persei is the vape you want. Compare to the Cera. The Hercules is the oil cartridge, compare to the oil cart for the Cera., SR-71 and SR-74 are simply 'versions' of the Hercules; the one you want is the latest version sold on w9tech.com. I think you're making this much more complicated than it really is! Here is a complete shopping list.
1x Persei
1x Hercules SR-74 cartridge
2x AW IMR 18350 batteries
That's it.

Can't you add a 2nd address or something? Is there not some way around the "shipping address must match billing address" policy? I'd have ordered stuff for like four people if they could get around that. I had a call in to the office about it, but no one called me back
The difference is in the protection the newer versions are less likely to burn out
Also I'm not sure but I think the v1 didn't have the 5click on/off feature to lock/unlock the button so they might accidentally fire in a pocket
Bean glad to see you're fully onboard. My suggestion is to slow down your draws if you're constantly clogging the screen. If that fails take the screen out!Update on my hercules sr74x experience. Once the black insulator was changed out it has been heavenly. Huge tasty clouds on demand. I am able to load once daily and get plenty for 6-10 sessions a day. The core is so nice with the herc. It really allows you to get optimum performance from the herc. I'm still clogging my mouthpiece so often that I have to ISO bath the screen daily. Small price to pay for this unparalleled performance. Anyone on the fence about the herc should just make the jump it's so convenient and powerful.
