To bad the persei runs its cartridges to fast.
I think you mean too bad it allows some opportunities for user error, which in turn allows the user to unexpectedly burn out "lower end" (feel bad calling it that) cartidges.
I get how the hammer works with the bender, but I've seen people saying it works great with the herc. How does that work? I don't have either one, but I've been looking into the both and don't seem to get how they work together.
Also I was wondering if I could get the hammer, the core, and the herc as a desktop (or car) unit? Am I missing anything I need there? Otherwise I was thinking of getting the Omicron v2 on sale for $50. Just not ready to drop $170 on a persei yet.
The hammer top used to come with a rod (called the hammer rod) intended for use with the bender. The hammer top is what people using the herc are referring to. To answer your question tho, the hammer top has circuit protection so a hammer top + core + herc should be a perfect match.
PERSEI doesn't cost $170, lol.

Well, don't you seem silly?
