The 3.7v setup seems to be favored. 7.4v cart gets hot VERY quickly, which can lead to oil burn or worse a burned out coil. I have a 3.7v KISS and it can handle any shatter no problem.
Nibbler broke this morning. These things REALLY need some sort of anti rolling dimple, even on just the regular persei setup you're just BEGGING for people to break them
I'd like to get another one but this broke ENTIRELY too easy for me to spend another $150.

I can check to see if we have any when I get in if you are really wanting another one.. The sale may have sold them out. . Oh I think vaporwarehouse has them on sale 15% off too.

I like power so I like the K.I.S.S. 5.0 for shatter. 7.4v = 2 x 18350's AW
I'm not qualified to comment however I go by feel and this feels right for me so you will be advised differently by someone more technical?
My shatter likes power with no flavor deterioration.
Although my shatter taste like maple syrup with pepper.
More of a one two punch effect wise.
So I found the sweet spot for this one.
Too bad you can't get the two voltage options?
I want to get the lower voltage K.I.S.S. cart myself and check it out. For my crumble the 3.0 might be the ticket?

Don't be fooled by @ataxian an his humility, he's a VAPE MASTER with many many miles logged. He can use the 7.4 KISS because he goes by feel and has it worked out. I'm a little more heavy-handed.
I would love a dual voltage KISS that auto-detects volts and works with 3.7 and 7.4. Maybe not possible due to pesky physics.

I vaped a bunch of GSC.
My plan was to fire up the K.I.S.S cart with my new water setup.
I got this glass tube and bubbler with a omicron tip for making the seal between the PERSEI and the Bubbler.
Latter today or tomorrow.

Let the shatter sit out in the sun all day before you scrape. Especially in socal. Or add a bunch of glycerine and smoke it out a ce4 tank?

I like your ideal of degrading the THC level by sun exposer. Glycerin I tried and don't like it.

If I could increase to 0.50gr daily of shatter
1.0 gr Flower then I would be at least 1/2 of "G"'s level!

My reason is literally that it was too good!
Its a beautiful design. Which inspires me and pushes me to obsess about how to improve it.
Its nearly perfect, the only issue it has is losing oil to the reclaim chamber. I only had the problem once when my batteries were close to dead, but a design that avoids this would be one step closer to perfection.
Anyway I kept making, buying, and obsessing about parts to make it just a little better. Which means money spent. I was also using a ton more oil enjoying the Herc and experimenting with different ways of setting it up. More money spent. I just get so wrapped up in design ideas that it stresses me out; with very little return. So, I'm taking a break from THC, spending some money on a 3D printer, and using my oil budget for ABS. That way I can continue to obsess about design, but actually have something to show for it.
No need for explaining man. We hall have our reasons to do what we do, but none the less, thank you for the compliments on our design work and still hope to see you around here with our discussion board.

Hey @THC SCIENTIFIC id be interested in an 8 with 3/8 fine thread for the cera. I love the button on the 8!
If there is demand we will produce the adapter, but at this time we need to run a minimum of 500pcs before it is going to be worth while. Also would need a luna cart and a cera eo carts to get the measurements.

I'd be happy to donate a Cera cart to the cause...assuming it results in them running on my 8 someday = ) ...dunno if you'll have enough interest for a 500pc minimum order though.
I do have a cera eo cart already offered, but a luna version would be best, it will be returned after about 2 months, but making the adapters will take about 2 months since it has to be given to our cad designer, then our electrical engineer, then our production engineer, then back to electrical for final approval and production, once done we will no longer need the carts and send it back out to the person donating it along with a free adapter.

Well it was a Cera cart re-fitted by TET to my Luna Handle...they should be one in the same. However, I do foresee a major problem. Because each and every Luna cart must be fitted to a specific Luna handle, I fear that the length tolerances would be too high to work well on the 8. Unless of course, the center contact pin on the 8 is adjustable. I am still happy to send a Luna-fitted cart your way for a period of time, if y'all want to tinker with it. I am just not sure how representative of the total Luna cart population my cart's specific specs are?
