Please note until a month or so ago carts never had any writing on them. That is a new feature that became necessary when there became more than one cart.

That said. ebay sellers are not an authorized retailer(s) for THC products so buyer beware.

BTW: Love all the entries folks. I was laughing hard at many of them

Just finished a Mega update for the Persei Wiki. It's now pretty comprehensive and is on par with the level of detail found in the Omicron Wiki. I have tried and remove all irrelevant information but there still may be some. There is now about 3X the information in there as before. I will be adding user stuff here soon now as I have all the basic technical info down. Thanks again JoeKickass for the cartridge compatibility section.

What are people using for carrying cases wit the Persei. Seen a lot of discussion on this on the omicron and TV threads but not much on the Persei.

honestly, i found that the tube my glass adapter by tv came in works perfect for the persei by itself. I have an e-cig case that holds a persei, an omicron, and 3 carts w/ mouthpieces, but it isn't air-tight. those telescoping tubes for cigars OF posts are like 2mm too small :doh:

I posted a case I modded way back on launch week. Made by Vatra called the double Decker. It's nice to store everything plus some(i think I can fit a V2 in there also), but is not that portable, reminds me of a small binoculars case. G said they are working on one, I am very interested in it.

a little confused. no familiar with the thc oil stuff. just researching for a good portable vape for cured cannabis.

is this designed for that or is this like some crazy oil thing. sorry there is just much lingo im not understanding.

also, if it is for cured herbs. whats the load size and charge time/battery life

this is definitely "some crazy oil thing ;)
you want the Persei 8. different thread, but here's some data

THC Sci sez it holds about 0.3 to 0.4 grams of herbs of your choice the batteries will last about 7 bowls before recharge is needed and it is only about 8.5 inches long, about 1/2 inch longer then a persei with the carts and mouth pieces.

You can set your temperatures, and just use it, no need for special techniques or anything. In our opinion this is more up their with the Solo then a magic flight.

The videos dont lie at all, it produces vapor on demand.

The Persei is currently for oils. There is an herb chamber coming out and there is a seperate thread on the "8" here. To understand more about the Persei, Omicron or a lot of others vapes here check out Vaporpedia which is the companion Wiki FAQ to this forum here.

im considering grabbing some new cartridges. i have a variable voltage power source that goes up to about 6.2 volts. ive been using the original 2.4's but now when i get new ones im not sure which ones i should get... im thinking either 3 ohm or 4 ohm, but i dont wanna end up getting too much resistance on the 4 ohms, so im leaning towards 3 ohm but i wanted to hear some other opinions. thanks in advance

Tried another tester 4ohm today, loaded it with another oil made with grain alcohol. This time I used my heat embossing gun to warm the cart and the loading tool, and then used it to melt the oil down into the cart. It was a much more successful load this time, and I got vapor right away. Again there was just a slight metallic taste on the first couple of hits, but it was not very strong, and it was quickly over powered by the flavor of the oil. At first I felt kinda bad that I don't have any honey oil to test right now, but then with all you other folks testing with top shelf oils, I can be the control on lower quality oils for those folk who don't have access to the goods, and have to make their own like me. I am getting clouds with this thing, and once the first few pulls go by, the taste evens out, so I would say 2 for 2, :tup:

I do still plan to run a small batch of BHO so I can get a full spectrum test. I really don't care for the taste of the alcohol extracts, but when it's all ya got...

Test Cart #2 Unprimed or tested, loaded with a full gram of some cheap gush oil. Loading was very smooth and priming was similarly uneventful. No oil taste or white pre-vape.

I've had the gush oil plug two carts after just barely a gram each so we'll see how pre-oxidizing affects the long-term build up with this new cart. So far it is still making fast clouds like a new cart should...

you think higher resistance carts will work better with thicker oils or something? why'd you ask which type of oils i use? just trying to find out what youre thinkin. thanks

G, i was wondering if you think a water attachment might be in store with in 2 months?
I ask because I ordered a 5" aqua Vape 2 weeks ago, and its still on backorder. If yours is not to far out, I would probably cancel my order from vapornation(they seem impossible to get a hold of)
I really hate to ask, but its been a couple weeks since I've heard anything about glass.

Have an issue with this 5ohm cart, it used to hit fine with milkshots, but now I need to hold the button down for 10 seconds
Until it starts to vape and then gets milkshots.

Anyone that could chime in I would greatly appreciate it
