. Most seem to think that flowers in The Herc is more of an afterthought than a main function.

It wasnt designed for herbs, so it basically was an afterthought. I have sr71 and sr74 white rods, the black rod and the blue rod(which was supposed to be for herbs)

I got good results with the sr71 white rod, coil with oil, screen and herbs. But found it too messy to be practical. If anyones ever used the vapir one, i think something like their herbs baskets for that would be a great addition to the herc for the herb/oil method @THC SCIENTIFIC. (Wink wink)

. I tried the blue rod, no coil and just herbs in it. Got a few whisps of vapor at best and that was it. There is a video somewhere in this thread of vitolo getting good results with it but i could not duplicate it. I tried a few kore times and didnt get any better results so i gave up on that.

Tried the Same thing with the black rod. Got better results but nothing that made me want to get rid of my flower vapes or even use the hercules over a flower vape...

Yeah that would solve the messy issue. Almost like a mini- ELB from a EVO, or like you said, Vapir.

You could also use the SR74 with just herbs at that point, couldnt you?

Yes exactly. And possibly, im not sure if theres enough surface area on the rod to properly heat up the air before it would get to the basket. But it would definitely be a possibility

That brings an interesting question. Which runs hotter, white rod on Herc or Hammer rod? Both seem to glow pretty well.

The benders rod looks thicker and runs to 1200F. I havent seen it in person and dont know the temp of the white rod so its hard for me to compare. The bender is more of a conduction vape (from what G told me) so its not so much the rod thats heating the air but more of the rod heating the glass to vape the herbs. Not sure if the same principle can be applied to a metal basket in the hercules but if it does im in!

This is all "what if" though. Im sure if i came up with this, G has already thought of it (usually the case with most of my ideas) and if he already thought of it, it would either be in the works or its not a feasible idea

Side note: ive been without my persei for a over a week now! I was testing out the V3 top for G and it had some issues. So i sent everything i had to him to get it sorted out. Besides the issue i had, i think most will really enjoy the new tops when they come out. They are push button, so no need to bedazzle (i think thats the word) the button anymore. It can also be locked like a normal ecig so no more worrying about it going off in your pocket. Oh and no more misfiring with the herc.

I was really enjoying it except for a blinking issue i had (i believe G found the issue) so its gonna be a bummer going back to the old V2 top

it's here! So far everything seems to be working great. Also got the Okeanos bottom connector for 601 thread, as well as the purple Kiss cart so I'm having a fun time testing all this stuff out today! I need to make more oil... I'm sticking with 3.7v gear for now.

@Resinberg yeah cleaning is a constant battle, but it sure is pretty when it shines! I have tha same problem with my charger, so I buy the monthly service plan at ye olde car washery. Lol like $28 a month and I can wash them all unlimited! Win.

yesterday I had a ton of fun with my kiss cart was one of the first times I actually put it to use it actually tasted really good couldn't taste anything but my oil

the question I have is when do I know when to add another chunk I just kept adding more and more because I didn't want my coil to heat dry just seems that will burn it out. but then it got to the point where I was adding too much and it was oozing up the mouthpiece here is a photo of the cartridge right now its pretty soaked and has a nice puddle
would you add more here?
I have tons of oil not worried about conserving it just would like to know whens a proper refill

Hit it while you are holding it upside down and sideways so that the goods drip back onto the coil/wick. You'll notice the puddle getting smaller after a couple hits.

I have a '08 Chevy Tahoe Z71 4x4, BLACK also. Back on topic The Core works great in there. I have used it with the omicron HVD and the Persei, both with the Herc SR-71 and KISS carts. Works perfect. For me there is a power outlet in the center console. Just need to have the wire coming out and Bingo. Core -to- go.

Just a heads up for everyone concerned about having to sign for packages. Ive been leaving a note taped and hanging on my mailbpx saying "im exepecting a package that needs to be signed for if you could please leave it in the mailbox or by the back door" then print my name, sign under it and date it. Has worked the past three times i got stuff from w9tech including today

@Resinberg i would add more to that cart. Looks empty to me. Seems kinda obvious to me, but do you heat it at all when you load it? I press the button for a second a few times in a row when i load it up to melt it on the coil. Makes it less messy and less gets up on the mouthpiece

hey man i dunno if what i do is right, but i just load a little dab onto the coil directly each time, I don't bother to try and load a bunch so that I can get multiple rips without reloading. Then I scrap all that wax/reclaim into another container so I can make edibles later. I've never tried moving my pen aronud while ripping though.

Found my original 3.7v hercules for dry herbs today. Anyone using these for anything? Bout to try some kief or bubble hash up in mine as its basically brand new due to having bad luck with herbs wth it
