I wouldnt do a dry burn till the ceramic turns white, thats just asking to kill a cart. Your better just rinsing it off with water after the iso soak and letting it airdry no burn off. Thats what G told me

That may have been my issue with the 3.7's then. Can anyone else chime in to confirm the cleaning process for the kiss carts? I was under the impression that it was ok to dry burn them for cleaning purposes.
I prefer the NiChrome wire for flavor. Some find a slight metal taste(iron) with Kanthal.

. I have some Iris v2 questions you might be able to help me with. First, what is the voltage range supported? The v1 Iris went from 3.5 to 7.4v. Is v2 the same? Also, does it still show a display in watts when it is delivering power? I really liked this in the v1. Finally is there any display of current (amps) being delivered? This is a feature that I wished the v1 had. Oh, also were you using it with a SR-71 or SR-74?I've been using my Iris v1 with a SR-71 for many months now and I agree with you that this is a must have accessory.

Also we are looking at getting rid of the battery charge state display to make room for these changes.
The current Iris prototype has a voltage range of 3.5v - 7.4v and if the battery voltage drops below the set voltage then the battery voltage is delivered.

I do a hour soak in iso then i let the cart air dry for 30minutes. Then I do a dry burn by pressing the button for 1-2seconds until the cart stops producing vapor. Make sure not to press the button longer then 2 seconds you don't want the wire to glow red. Please disregard my cleaning process if your worried about the life of your cartridge.
@Hedonismbot thank you! As for most of your questions it would seem that the man himself picked them up. Good thing too, at this point I am so vaked I can barely remember my name! Kidding of course, but wow my stash is dented! Lol.
As for what Hercules I was using......I used two good old SR71s. Though I did also use one with the sr74 rod, and I tried the aaf on both rod setups seperately as well.

@ataxian have you checked them with a multimeter to make sure its not your chargers somehow? Those stock ones are not great for super heavy use like you (and I) throw out. Id bet its the charger, and if so I would suggest an intellicore i4 from amazon for $20. It has 4 individual charge ports, its a dream.

Take it slow and get a DMM or you can tell us to add a very user friendly tester to your current order
@THC SCIENTIFIC is it possible to get rid of the "System ON"? Reminds me of my VAMO.
Yes the system on is a standard built into the programming and will be changed to something else.

Did you say the voltage has to be set every time the power is turned on?
The core is great. I used it to power my Omicron HVD with my Sr-71 before I got my Persei.(didn't know it was so power hungry at the time). It even comes with a car adaptor which works great and is very handy. (Especially when my only KISS cart died and the Herc was my only back-up. It has pros and for me only one con. It is nice to be confident that I am getting full power consistently without worrying if my batteries are gonna die. The only downside for me is the wire that goes to the Vape is very stiff. This sometimes causes it to come unplugged when using. I usually hold it so that it cannot come unplugged. I think it would be better with a 90degree angle plug on the vape end. Still I love The Core!
Yeah, but id rather do a quick rinse and not have to worry about burning off any iso residue and possibly damaging the cart. I just cleaned mine last night before bed. And its completely dry now in the morning

i still don't get the point in wetting it after cleaning. I would use alcohol to get the water off then i let the alcohol dry.
So i REALLY think I want a nibbler XL but:
1) How's the drag on it? I've tried using a whip and GonG attachment on the hercules but there is an INSANE amount of drag to the point that it's not really worth trying.
2) I really only use my herc in lightsaber mode and I dont really think it's going to be very stable. Can it lean over at a slight angle without spilling? Or do I need to figure out a stand of sorts?
Also, anyone experiment with putting ejuice in their kiss/okeanos cart?

I like to vaporize at home mostly so I think the CORE would be better for my situation. I can always modify the cord.The core is great. My OMICRON or OPHOS are portables I use boating. The PERSEI is my favorite device and I would just add a outdoor outlet near my vaporizer center in my back garden.
