Was just thinking about how neat the Hammer rod + oil dabbing thing is (I think you called it Leela?). Any further developments with that, @THC SCIENTIFIC?

might have to pick up something from ya, I'm a bit hesitant to do it now as I have a VB Dabbler coming my way Monday as well as having my DART. Interested in seeing what you've got under your sleeve, especially with your desktop vape (oddly enough I still don't have a dedicated desktop vaporizer 
)

I had this problem, but since I have no AAF (@THC SCIENTIFIC im looking at you bruh. Heh...no worries....just bustin balls man). I simply dialed in my coil for my suction and use. For the most part substance viscoscity doesnt seem to matter when it comes to spring size...so far (your results may vary?). I can load shatters or crumbles with no issue as long as i keep load size in mind. Smaller for less stable. White rod only, black rod is a w.i.p. at the moment.
Edit. Did that make sense? Im 2grams in on the pax, with the herc overheating next to it.

Cool stuff, I'll be in LA in a few months to get my recommendation renewed and pick up some stuff. Think it'd be cool if I dropped by to buy something? Would love to meet ya even if it's just for 10-15 minutes.
Ya brotha when you drop by ill be there just needs a days notice, maybe I can share a few prototypes if I have them in stock.
As for what you have coming that's cool just be careful if you order the Okeanos that it might not run it because of its limitations.

g u the man. ur always so down to be the best and a cool kat at the same time. for me, going to ur shop and having a vape with u on the herc (vitamin e eo ) like ur vid of course lol would like be dropping tabs with les claypool or going to Colorado and meeting the Stanley bros. inspiration and artist or mad scientist more prob like it.

the load on the left is yesterdays or what ever is left of yesterdays after i kept pushing it around on the desk. The load on the right is about .4 i was not able to finish it and the dark spots are now nice brown looking color. The dark brown spots are from the bottom of the bowl as compared to the left which ran it in conduction mode. The convection set up tasted much better and i got a full palette. I had a few more pulls left but we are going to get our resident Iron Lung to get the biggest pull we can do and see how that roast it.
Actually it was not. It was a few degrees from combustion but it wasn't combusted as the whole load would have gone up.

@THC SCIENTIFIC is the okeanos LaYG? If it is can you unscrew the top without worrying about the water?

I don't think so. The Oke if I recall correctly is a KISS cart with the micro bubbler on top of it. Buying the Oke should be fine by itself as I consider it a complete unit: area where the vaporization occurs and water chamber. Would seem kinda odd to sell it as a unit but without the cart where you would put oil. The Hercules coil is the sponge coil that you soak the oil into so that the rod in the center vapes it.
At least that's how I understand it. It's almost 3:30am where we're at so I doubt he will answer for some hours.

Not without at least one more part. The Nibbler XL seals up high (on the MP) with Hercules/SR71, literally "over the head of" the KISS cart. It's also way small, the KISS rattles in the XL.
Perhaps a replacement MP for the KISS with a seal on the outside as well could work, but then you'd risk having it get stuck in the XL (need a tool to remove it by threaded bore?). The best way seems to make a replacement for the cone section with no MP but an o-ring on the outside so the threads could retain it?

The Ti coils are (IIRC) 30% the size of an original coil. They are meant to be able to be stacked on top of each other if need be.

Yes, about 30%. I just measured one of my original SR-71 coils and it is about 14mm long so a 4mm (Ti) coil would represent about 28-29% of the original length.
