So i tried the blue rod again all weekend and this week.
Have gotten worse results then the first time i tried a few weeks/month ago.
Ive tried packing it light and fluffy, ive tried packing it down and tight, ive tried in the between those and nothing but whispy or no vapor. Ive tried preheating for 30 seconds, ive tried preheating for minutes and same results. Ive tried puffing like the cera while preheating, ive tried just preheating, same results... I tried the shaking too which helped my frustration but didnt help get better results. I just cant figure this thing out.
It doesnt help that my single top only wants to work when its convenient for persei, sometimes i click it and it lights up right away like it should, other times i have to press, release, press, release etc before it activates....
I believe this is a known issue and they are working on a cause and solution but man is it frustrating to use this while i wait for the solution and eventually a replacement im assuming...(@THC SCIENTIFIC was kind of vague when i mentioned the issue to him)
On a side note, the black rod is still my favorite vape for oil ever and i will continue to use it over the cera even with the button top issue)

Think I could vape a few drops of E-juice with the white rod and not ruin all the oil I have in there already?

The SR71 EATS concentrate though, doesnt it? I was getting 200+ hits per puregold capsule in the 3 ohm old cartridges. It would last two weeks to a month. Easily 10+ hits a day.
If the sr71 demolishes concentrate than another solution needs to be found...

The SR-71 eats concentrates for sure, but it also spits it back out in huge volumes of vapour. All the pain in your butt should be gone I promise. I could hit the old carts all day just for fun, but with the SR-71 eventually you'll be sleeping.
The white rod definitely can eat through oil fairly easily, but throttling the button definitely helps make it last quite a bit longer and you can still achieve good sized puffs.
Oil with the black rod easily lasts 2-3 times longer than the white rod though and thats with me just holding the button down the entire time. And you still get huge tasty smooth puffs

If you're hoping to play it conservatively I'm sure the black rod will be everything you need, however, G has said that the white rod can act just like the black one does with the correct method.
Way I see it, you can trade in 10 hits off a 3ohm to a few small hits / one big hit from the Herc. Maybe @THC SCIENTIFIC can tell you how much mileage he saw from a gram of PG, that's all they used to test the Hercules.
Have you tried Ce4 atomizers yet? They seem to be right up your alley.

I have been using the Ce4's for over a year with the PG.
Works fine with a single 18350 and a shorty or a 18650 and a longer PERSEI tube.
I use them on a OPHOS or OMICRON as well?
I'm not crazy about PURE GOLD however never had a issue using it with my gear?

Could you clear some things up for me. I'm stuck on the concept of putting a ash catcher on the bender. Your basically drawing airflow backwards. I find it hard working the same I'm very confused about this lol! Mind clearing this up for me

Tried two different ones, one from D9 and one from a local headshop and both flopped. The LHS one didnt work period. The D9 one worked for maybe one or two pulls and then stopped. Cant be user error, as im not a novice to the persei.
But something im doing must be wrong, or WHAT is being used may be wrong. Maybe people are adding PROPYLENE GLYCOL to it (which also stands for PG)? But im only using Puregold, nothing added. Nothing else can be used except puregold. as there is nothing else here. and flower vapes dont work for me, just dont claim any awards in vapor production or intensity when needed. Never have worked to that extent.

I have so many different set ups.
One of them that confuses many is the ASH CATCHER I do run backwards.
The air path is going thru water regardless and cooling the vapor.
When I officially wake up I'll post a more direct way of hooking up water.
There is no wrong or right way!

The HERCULES SR71 works the best for the waxes that are more CBD rich than PG!

You awake now lol. when I imagine the process of the ash catcher attached I think of it like a straw and you just sucking up the water... I wouldn't mind buying a cheap ash catcher for some water cooled vapor! I'm trying get the nibbler as well and attach that baby to the bender, if you end up doing it would you mind showing me as well how you attached the two I'm trying find the most subtle adapter to make like the 2 belong together

Darn I broke the Black Leaf pipe like that using a male domeless nail. It expanded and cracked the female joint. I liked that pipe
You can use an ash collector and just a mouth piece if its an 18mm female the SR-71 will fit good.
