Floating In My Tin Can
I'm not exactly conservative with my oil but I sure as shit don't have .5 at a time to keep throwing in hoping the thing starts to function the way it is supposed to. Call me crazy, but I'm one of those people that doesn't want to have to troubleshoot a product multiple times. I don't have an interest in taking things apart and figuring out what's wrong with them. We pay a price named by a company so that they can worry about
those things and we can enjoy the product hassle free.
i was just pointing out this idea you've presented earlier and have now reuttered "im not exactly... it is supposed." pick a side mate. i hate these goddamn on the fencers. interesting that you bring the question of sanity into the discussion. Am i crazy for thinking that oil cant just disappear out of existence?
this must be the only other possible conclusion, really...
My experience with the Hercules thus far is directly in line with KindBeat's.
You can't be crazy on that notion FriedBanana, but neither can two or more people who are experiencing the same issue (however, to think that your idea of conservatism in oil is going to be the same as another person off the go, is a little crazy).
There is nowhere near the amount of oil loaded that translates to vapor or reclaim. I have iso-bathed this thing twice, mouthpiece, heater, everything but the ceramic rod (which I'm thinking I should do, this thing has a black ring and brown staining on it), and I don't get my oil back. I'm racking my brains as to where the fuck it's going, trust me. I'm not exactly keen on losing $140 and not trying to find it.
The Hercules, even in Skype sessions where I followed all of G's instructions, just didn't produce consistently enough to justify the oil consumption.
I am inclined at this point to believe that somewhere in the universe, all our missing socks and keys are covered in bho.
