No, I don't think I should have been more hesitant to wash out my Herc and yes, you could have worded that to sound a bit less condescending. The fact of the matter is that I opened up my Herc, looked at it and came to the conclusion that the walls had nowhere close to the amount of oil that I have run through the unit. I'm not exactly conservative with my oil but I sure as shit don't have .5 at a time to keep throwing in hoping the thing starts to function the way it is supposed to. Call me crazy, but I'm one of those people that doesn't want to have to troubleshoot a product multiple times. I don't have an interest in taking things apart and figuring out what's wrong with them. We pay a price named by a company so that they can worry about those things and we can enjoy the product hassle free.
Nothing really happens. I can get some small inconsistent puffs of vapor and the cart is hot enough to hear bubbling. There is also a good amount of oil in the stainless steel top now.
