I don't wanna be a debbie downer here, the 50% pre-order discount is awesome, but $180 for the Bender? The entire Persei costs $199. The Bender is a 1200f hammer rod (listed as $26.99) and a well shaped, small piece of glass. So its $153 for a bowl sized glass piece and the packing/cleaning stuff?

I'm very excited with all the R&D happening here (which I know doesn't come cheap) and my Persei is the most used piece in the house, but to me that's a tough sell. Waiting on the Herc and/or Universe.

I'm with you and you forgot the $22 for AW IMR batteries that you need to buy too. and if you want a click on click off top than add that in there...

we understand the cost of the finished product, but at the same time the service that goes with it, and also our overhead is large at the moment because of our research.

You know with the companies that pioneer devices their overhead is large but the companies that follow are not so much because they already have the research to look at in a finished product.

Please understand guys, this is done by scientific glass guys and not your average glass blower. the scientific community costs more then regular glass community. We use the scientific community for a number of reasons and one of them is they are always dependable and the quality is unmatched.

$60? fairly sure $180 * 0.5 = $90 last time i checked ;)

My third thought^^^

At a hundred units, this is far from a large launch, its more like a small test. With that, smaller runs cost more per unit for obvious and less obvious reasons. Now if it comes back a hit, maybe the next run is 5-10 thousands units and the price MAY go down.

I ordered Bender and a few other things the other day. I had questions about shipping issues that may arrise due to a future move. G pm'd back in no less than 3 mins multiple times. Then while actually ordering I messed up the coupon code. I pm'ed, he pm'ed back in 3 mins again and had already cancelled my order for me to order again.
Dude has a real passion for his work, and it shows. I bet he has a thousand hrs on FC in the last year! Vapeman of the year 2012

Appreciate the reasonable response and investment made for this stuff. Portable vapes are definitely a niche product at moment so I do understand its important to get a return to keep going with it.

The starting price of a SHITTY SPOON is $30. If you want anything that is not like every other spoon, you are looking at atleast $45. Now custom make that glass to fit into something else, now the price adds up. Use scientific glass instead of that cheap glass from the 50's and that price goes up more. Oh and let's not forget G also said there is a replacement option. I have never heard of that before.

ALL IN ALL IT'S WORTH THE $100 to me.

The mouth piece it has a honeycomb screen and a bend that allows you to use your device without looking down.

The other piece is not included in the kit.

No worries G. Like I said I personally won't need one for awhile. The bender will be my #1 herb vape. Atleast until the universe.

The name makes so much sense with the new mouthpiece.

I replayed one of G's older demo vids, before his stealth tech was up to date.
If you stop the vid at 04:05 and scrub back and forth, the cloak drops. It's not pretty.
