"knowledgeable" means I've learn a lot about many things.
Unfortunately, with more "wisdom", I'd know when to keep quite more often :)

I assume you meant "quiet" not "quite"?

I agree, you know what they say, "Knowledge is knowing tomatoes are a fruit, not a vegetable. Wisdom is not putting them in a fruit salad".

The button on my single top gets hung up every 15 pushes or so both when warmed up and cool. Is it safe to clean around the button with q tips and alc or do I have to make a service call? If I fo can I use the double top with one cart to hold me over while its gone.

I am leaning more and more towards the Persei but have a few questions:

  • If I wanted to use the double cartridges, could I use e-juice(for clouds) in one cartridge and a small amount of herb in the other?
  • I live in the UK so would it be cheaper to buy locally or better to buy from D9V?
  • Would it be better to wait for the Universe/Hercules and grab a bundle with any discount offered?
  • I currently use the inhalater and it works very well. Would the Persei have a longer battery life and would it produce thicker clouds per unit volume of herb?
  • Can I use concentrates easily?
Thanks in advance for your help

As long as the ohms are the same on both cartridges you can mix and match. Remember to use our double tip mouth piece.

You can order from Planetvape.ca soon as they have our stuff i think its cheaper, I would wait to grab it all at the same time.

The Persei with the Bender can vaporizer 1.5 grams of tobacco before it needs to be recharged, it has a all glass herb chamber and if you get the button press sequence down to a science its gonna rock. I cant compare it to the unit you mentioned, i guess we have to wait for customers to give us feedback.

We have many cartridges coming out for concentrates.

Has anyone used the 1200f hammer with the stock Persei top and done dabs on a nail? Or do I need the click on click of top for the hammer?

i saw that post but was hoping some fc members have used the stock top with the 1200f and could share their experience. the d9 website states "Works only with 7.4v and with the Persei bottom tube and a click on click off style button. This Unit does not include the top needed to operate the Hammer correctly. It requires the Base Hammer Kit."

If you want to operate the hammer correctly as in turn it on and leave it alone to heat up then you need the top, if not then you need to hold the button down while your loading your ti nail.

I'm up in the air on the Bender.... or wait for the Hurc Cart?(I know I will own both eventually, but don't want to miss the discount!) I own a Volcano, MFLB, and T1... and they all sit around. I mostly vape supermelts, but love to taste some beautiful flowers now and then. The volcano is the only one that has enough capacity for 1 bowl sessions, but I hate the bag.....any input from you guys and gals on FC would be greatly appreciated!

Also looking forward to the Iris, to really dial in that sweet spot for different extracts in omi carts!

G, keep up the good work!

Any thoughts on incorporating a glass screen into the mouthpiece of the Bender, so we don't have to add a metal one?

Oh yeah, I missed out on Jam's chrome Persei(I really want chrome for some reason) but hopefully that one G is holding under the Bender is Stainless Steel, and I'm first in line to buy that one!

The chrome was cool, but showed smudges really bad. I am leaning towards eventually getting a black Persei because I think black is just stealthier. I only use 2.4ohm carts so the HVD mini has been working great for stealth purposes. That stainless steel has more of a brushed or matte look, and probably doesn't take finger prints quite so easily compared to the chrome. Right now I am happy with my purple SS sleeves, they are pretty sweet.

Is that a cart or some kind of odd SeaHorse relative?

Any details you can unload on the following?

The day we've all been waiting for is just around the corner... :)

I think a black mouthpiece would look better though, any reason you went with the white?

I'm pretty sure the mouthpiece is white because it is made from PFTE instead of Delrin (It also looks like "710" size, if you want to look at ecig sites for a replacement).

We can also see the 601->601/skirted eGo-style adapter (same as used for D9's eGo-W) at the base (I had asked about it in pictures of earlier versions) and that it now attaches the outer black tube with vents - ?heat shield?? (when G still threw out numbers, 2 Ohms at 7.x volts is >20 watts - i.e. this would heat like a TV Evo, or even similar to the 750 Hammer)

Just guessing, but I'd expect that the air intake to feed the furnace is through the outer tube, then downward through the inner cartridge, which had holes part way up when it was visible before. If this is correct, then bottom leaks would be impossible (well, it would just leak into the outer tube at worse) and that would be really nice.

Nick you never cease to amaze me. Semi correct. I will let your imagination run wild. Until we introduce it to the public.

Nick I thought the mars rover was being used to collect the right particles to allow the cartridge to self breath... LOL

but those were all a little less obvious. Is Lrrrr next? LOL

I love the references just wasn't sure if there was a second meaning.

"One of these days Ndnd, bang, zoom, straight to the third moon of Omicron Persei 8!"

"I AM LRRR, RULER OF THE PLANET OMICRON PERSEI 8! May I crash on your couch?"

Nice analysis from one little picture. The design definitely looks to get rid of the leaking issue but what about the clogging? I'm guessing the whole cartridge is composed of the outer tank, and inner heating tank. The inner tank is probably a completely new design from the current cartridges.

nickzzzx,
Nice analysis from one little picture..
For many decades someone had to look at those pictures we (USA) dropped from satellites into the ocean. Some of us were good guessers (is that a new tank? Do those wings look different? What is inside that building?) and most of us had other technical skills as well - I'm pretty sure that THIS isn't the type of issue what I was trained to be used for :) (besides, computers often are better nowadays)
