Could having a bad fuse or having a short from the button cause my 8 to not heat up as quickly as my other top? I feel like the button ISNT an issue from how far i've got it screwed in, but those are the only things i can really think of that would be causing this
and where can i buy a new fuse if so
if your button is screwed in too much it may have a short does your button get warm/hot after you take a hit? if it does id be willing to bet its adjusted too far in
the best way to adjust the 8 in my experience
1. remove top cap and top pin
2. push button all the way in to check contact with the bottom pin
3a. if the bottom pin is being pushed back adjust the button screw back 1/8th turn at a time until the bottom pin makes contact but doesn't move
3b. if its not making contact adjust the button screw in 1/8th turn at a time
4. once the button makes contact with the bottom pin without moving it replace the top pin adjust the gold nuts up a little higher than usual
5. screw cart into top and slowly screw top cap onto the 8 until you feel resistance from the gold nuts
6. adjust gold nuts as needed to make good contact without a gap under the top cap
i apologize if this is a bit long or anyone has a hard time understanding what i mean i don't always know the best way to explain my methods
