I gave them a quick rinse of ISO to get the goo off then rinsed with water.
Next time try hot water bath, works well enough for my kiss mouthpieces

I notice that on my Persei top it says V3-028. What is the major difference with the V4 top?
So I did manage to get some leakage into the bottom chamber. It still looks and smells nice so I put it back. I unscrewed the bottom chamber and scraped everything out but it was a bit messy. What do you do? Heat it gently with a lighter and "pour" it back into the upper chamber? I know I need to refine my technique so it doesn't happen but it will happen from time to time!

The info about the v4 top is a page or two back in the thread.. Something about touch sensitive button..ability to keep it on like the hammer top.. I have a question for you guys.. Has anyone had to go through the warrenty process without the original paper receipt ? Does having an account with w9 have any effect on this ? I will be opening a ticket on the site but getting depressed.. Lost my original receipt and my v3 top has constant issues now.. Have to unscrew-re screw the carts to get it working.. Which causes the wire on the bottom to bend etc. All this with constant blinking lights.. Very annoying. But if I have to I guess I'll just purchase the "upgrade" o the v4 even though my persei is less then 6 months old.. More like 4-3

If you bought direct, the order number should suffice to confirm the purchase.
IMO, the upgrade for the V4 was totally worth it. My Persei/Herc combo has been much more reliable with the V4.
if u got it online from w9tech or from an authorized distrabuter then you should have a digital recipt stored in your email somewhere.
If you got it from a physical store though then your most likely at w9techs mercy, hopefully they can at least give you a discount even without recept

Anyone here running a 7.4 herc on a v2 persei? My room mate just got his 7.4 herc and i wasnt sure how 'safe' it would be... so i lent him my hammer top till we got answers from here. Were running it with 2 18650 mxjo, gonna try 2 18500 when they get off the charger. The 18650s get clouds in 3-5, but not super choking. Really good flavor. I may have to grab a 7.4 rod for myself....

My V2 ran my herc better than its replacement v3. Be careful with over tightening that's how I busted mine.

Can I run an aspire Atlantis off of a v4top
I believe the coils for the Atlantis are either .3 or .5 ohms

any word on replacement globes for the AC? Or any custom bender style globes. Kind nice having the bend in the mouthpiece.
replacement globes for the AC are on their way, and working on the nibbler version for the KISS AC

so ya, still can't get my dual coil AC cart to work at higher voltage on v4 persei. it works great up to 5.6V on my core, then anything 6.1 or higher gives red flashing every time :l. It works pretty good at 5.6 and below, just wish it was fully functional.
Mostly just been using the 1701 at 4 or 4.2V, it's very very nice I really like it! Great efficiency and amazing flavor....

the dual coil wont work with batteries ? or wont work with the core.

it won't work above above 5.6 on the core, or with fully charged 18350 AW IMR x2, but works ok with single 18650... I haven't tried lightsabre mode, guess I will try that
