Hello, I just recently got the Persei and the core. Everyone recommends the Hercules. What I would ideally like:
.5 g one time load
Flavor
Efficiency (get the most from waxes and shatter)
I was going to use the EO carts, 2.4 ohm, using 3.7 power from omicron lite. Should I get the Hercules? I want something simple. It seems like there are a lot of problems for first time user.
If you are willing to read the instructions, watch a simple youtube video, and use this forum's "search" tool and read a little thread, you will remove 100% of the problems. Unfortunately, there is no magic vape that meets every one of your criteria and is super easy to use. You could probably hop in a Toyota Corolla and just GO- it'd feel a lot more comfortable than if you got behind the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Italia... the Ferrari would take a bit of practice to use, right, but once you learned how to operate it correctly, I bet you could handle it just fine, and you would appreciate the performance that the Ferrari has over the Toyota.
I have the sr71, and the stock 18350 batteries that came with my persei work fine.
Do the batteries have a small oval sticker that says "AW"? If they don't, you might think they work fine, but you are missing out on a TON of performance with higher amp discharge batteries.
Ahh... they say "TZIMR 18350" Would this have caused the top to burn when using the herc? My gut says if anything the cart would burn... not the top itself.
Low powered batteries shouldn't cause problems besides low performance... What kills tops, is applying power to a shorted circuit. Shorts are caused by an incorrectly assembled Hercules cartridge, or an improperly rebuilt cartridge, or unfortunately occasionally caused by having the cart screwed too tightly into the Persei top. How tight did you have yours screwed in? I killed one of my V1 single tops by having a perfectly assembled Herc screwed too tightly into it
