Hey guys, so I've had the Airizer Air for awhile and it's been good but seems to be ready to crap out on me. I've always been interested in the Mighty as all the reviews really say it hits like a desktop vape but is portable. I didn't get one originally because of the issues with the cracked plastic near the bowl. I've read that they've made updates & improvements in the time it's been out and most of the issues have been resolved. Anyone have a newer Mighty and can confirm? Thanks!

All I can say is I have two: one made in early 2015 that I received in late June of 2015, and one made in fall 2015 that I received in December of 2015. Both have been used heavily and daily. One is 19 months old, five months away from warranty expiration. One is 14 months old.

Neither has any cracking around the bowl. The older one has a teeny crack on the top fin by the bowl....you'd never see it without looking really carefully. Both have been dropped very short distances, a couple times, onto carpeting.

No one would describe the Mighty as indestructible, but if you are careful, it will last just fine under heavy use. Keep it clean, be gentle when taking the cooling unit off and on, and you should get several happy years from it. Manhandle it, over stuff it, drop it, be brutal removing the CU....yeah, you'll get cracks. Like any other expensive, breakable device....treat it well and it'll treat you in kind. :2c:

Seriously, has there been one damned person here in the past nearly three years who has regretted buying a Mighty? :hmm::lol:

Dropped mine now probably 3 times onto gravel asphalt and concrete and yes there is damage but not enough to hinder it's mightyness. The ammo bands help and suggest to anyone looking for some bumper protection. Helps me when I put it in my front window in the truck to get warmed up. The rubber prevents it from sliding all over when driving. Also putting it down its soft as a glove lol. Just my two cents. After dropping my baby 3 times. These elastics help the case from splitting which is why I got em cause the concrete did the most damage lol. Oh and I dropped it a fourth time but the band's took the hit. I lost the url. But I know someone suggested these on page 344 or around there lol

Damn life is good mang ...
Judging by those pics I'd have to agree! At least you do appreciate it!
Last week, in troubled times, I could almost taste your pictures with my face against the screen.
But tonight, I can't complain too much either. Enjoy!!

My Mighty is 11 months and no problems, all good! I want to thank everyone here for the advice back then!
I think it's wrong when I see a review still talking about above average failure rate in Mighty, when the same site has reviews for much ropier vapes with no mention of the associated griefs.
But yes, this is a reliable vape. I can rely on it to perform very well everywhere, even if I was away from home for a few days OOOOHHH did you hear that frail, dodgy faraway vape manufacturers? Yes a few days wow, and it would still work when you get home and no need to spend half your owner period waiting on repairs and replacements in the mail.
I will do everything in my power to not waste any money on a possible unreliable vape or bad cs again. Once is enough, it's in the past now! Phew
Ok, half capsule time!

@Bomb33 - Glad the ammo bands worked for you.
You may want to retire the lower band.
Get @nenmayk 's form fitting plastic stand to take its place.
Now your Mighty is in full tactical mode, standing at attention.

Slightly different topic, wondering what others thought: I've always been gentle and slow opening and closing the CU, like an Rx cap.

Pushing down compresses the o-ring, allowing a bit more clearance and less stress on the locking channels and tabs. When the plastic heats up, it approaches the "glass phase" when its crystalline structure changes, flexing easier--you can feel it and hear the creaks twisting it when hot. Best to avoid abrupt, rough turns on the CU IMO.

@Chandler :

I believe @nenmayk is saying that you must be an FC member to buy.

No site or online storefront; you need to use FC messaging to contact him for the purchase details. Pretty good price, $30, domestic US shipping included. Anyone out there have one yet?
absolutely correct, thank you for the clarification, available also on ebay.. for non fakerz ;)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone in this thread, you guys unwittingly helped me chose a Mighty as my portable/backup desktop vape.

My Vapexhale Cloud Evo bamboo broke last night and today I've had my first full run with the Mighty as the main driver, and I've discovered something that for me, is a total game-changer and if its been covered already then I apologise, but I feel it needs to be emphasised.

Using a smaller amount, and packing it down with the concentrate pad on top, produces FAR thicker vapour, and the effect is night and day, much closer to the hit of the Vapexhale. Before, I was going through the 0.3 bowl fairly quickly and without ever getting much past [7]. I assume I was loading too little before, and not tamping it down sufficiently, but this method makes things last a lot longer and seems to be far better at extracting what we are after.

The AVB has gone from a very very light brown, to a more roasted dark coffee ground colour, which is what I'm after.

Got the Mighty teamed up to a nice Grav Labs stax base showerhead bubbler and after using the pad on top I am [8] after one bowl.

Love these forums, not smoked anything for exactly one month now, full convert!

Hey! Welcome!
There's not much that hasn't been covered about the Mighty, though discovery is part of the fun of all this.
Keep on fucking combustion!
