Here's an odd and minor observation about the new Mighty charge adapter I received as a replacement recently. (It replaced original that came with Mighty SN 23XXX in Fall '15).
The plug that goes into Mighty is mounted at right angle to cord, similar the older one, though unlike promotional photos of original straight plugs.
This new adapter's right angle plastic/rubbery part is slimmer than on the previous, just by enough so it can now rotate fully around, while the old one was blocked from doing so by the switch and/or housing. The old one may have brought unnecessary pressure on the plug itself at times(?).

Has anyone used the vapefiend easy flow 14mm Mighty adapter? I ordered it last night but there were no reviews on the site for it.

That looks like the exact one I ordered. Does it give you bigger rips through the water tool than just hitting it dry?

like i said, i have the impression the CO manages to produce thicker vapor. dont know why.
without the CU with the adapter the clouds are smaller.
dry and with water


aaaaaand you have to be careful not to twist the adapter to tight into the mighty.
a less than 40° clockwise turn/twist is enough

i have the 2.0 housing

That's interesting. With my Air hooked up to a water tool I get way bigger clouds than just using it dry with the stock stems. I hope I don't regret buying this adapter.

That's the one everyone also refers to as the Vapefiend adapter.
The negatives people talk about are
1. Screen too far from load. Solutions are a. add oil pad to fill space. b. use a 'pac-mac' cut top screen atop load (may scratch bowl?).
2. Poor fit, as described by @Green Kiwi and others. Solution is to file or machine a better fit
3. No positive 'stop' when rotating into position. It is possible to crack Mighty's housing by over-tightening.

I also think this thing has some good things going for it, over, say, the Muzzmod. No adhesives used, for one thing. I've made two muzzmods, and love their function, but eventual separation of glass/epoxy in both has led me to stop using them (after scores of high temp sessions, to be sure).

I don't understand what you guys are talking about with clouds and the adapter or water and all. In my experience, taking the c/u out of the equation gives more vapor, cloudy or otherwise, all else equal, so I like both of these the GonGs for that.

As the video above shows, Mighty can produce voluminous vapor with c/u in place as well. I think we're talking about relatively small differences in these methods compared to say, temperature.

Since I've stopped using Muzzmod and don't have the other one, I've gone back to just what the critic is doing in that video, using an arizer right angle water adapter (these are 18mm male) onto my glass, which is made from a mason jar and a 5 inch glass downstem with shower head (from Oregonglassblowers). I custom made the lid to the mason jar to receive the downstem and a second arizer right angle glass adapter, for whip tube. I replaced that plastic arizer whip tubing with silicone. All my glass is 18mm gong. Just to add, most sessions lately have been at 205C.
I guess, and to round out this discussion, I can state that I think there's some loss of vape in my long vapor path, so I think the D-020, etc probably give a bigger hit; it's more direct. I am, however, quite happy with the hits I'm getting! I might go for more potent flower, but the hits are just fine.

i have a bigger clouder namely "de verdamper" and i have tastier vapes solo/air.

but the convenience of mighty + capsules + watertool + short hydrotube is very nice.
almost clinical but a nice short ritual.

the silicon whip attached to the mightys CU on a male 18mm EQ elbow in the small d020 is the best waterfiltration for the mighty i think.

I've been playing with the caps also. I think they are easier to open/close after a short wear-in period. They were difficult for me for first couple of times, now fine.
Yes, clinical. For me the whole vaping experience has been one of adapting to new methods. I was initially so turned off by the use of a device at all...

I may be entering a rare time when budgeting stash is critical. These caps could also turn out to be "Budgeting Capsules".

yes, and á propos budgeting.

somehow the mighty produces nice vapor and effect between 172°C and 192°C.
i rarely go higher in temps.

both portables arizer i vape dry at approx. 195°C and finish through water on max/7/red 210°C
the mighty has "mightier" effects 20° beneath that.

one capsule a little more than half filled produces 5-7 hits through the small bubbler.
one could get 2-3 more but these would have to be above 200°C and that is not very tasty and there are no important cannabinoids-spectrum for me to extract.
i vape high CBD strains 1:1 ratio. 185°C is sufficient.

ergo, more goodies an in my light brown a little greenish ABV for butter and oil.


wow, putting the caps in the mighty bowl works like a charme.

Any experience on turnaround time once they recieve the unit? Just sent a message asking to confirm that they had received it (tracking showed it was delivered), but all I got back was a message saying

Has anyone actually had to wait 5 days? With the mixed reviews about S&B's support I wouldn't be surprised.
I really want them to just send me a new one. But how do I express that without sounding greedy .

Just got blasted off a .1 bowl I started last night at 360F..finished today at 388F....you really start to feel it tickle at 360 after a few draws. Huge clouds on both sess with same load(og with a pinch of gg)

Went to S&B in Oakland today (I live in San Francisco) I'm always impressed with the very friendly service there. I know that on this thread and more so on the Crafty thread there are some complaints about spotty customer service , in person I have only good things to say.

Anyway, I picked up some dosing caps, much to my own surprise. When I first saw them online, they seemed an unnecessary accessory. When I heard they were for one time use, I thought kind of an environmental waste. Sort of like coffee K-cups.
I had achange of mind and can see some distinct advantages. First off, with a bit of care, these things could be re-used quite easily.
The interesting thing about them is that it changes the vaporizer making it much more into convection, way less conduction. Far easier on the throat and tastier.
Also the bowl stays super clean. Less chance of inhaling small particles.
Finally, I was amazed by how little herb I needed. I like variety, now I can buy individual grams and actually have repeated sessions, rather then having to buy eights. Made my day

How does it change the device from less conduction to convection? And easier on the throat.Please explain

Im on a break because of throat irritation.

I just got my capsules today in the mail! Does anyone here wash the capsules before use? Or do you just plug and play.

i think @sanfranciscosadhu means that the material does not touch the walls of the heating element.
this wall ring produces the heat. (am i right?)
however the caps touch the walls but not that much.

place the bigger part of the caps in the mighty, you will see how it fits.
but there is a small rim (?)

I believe a small flat file would do it, or possibly a medium/coarse emory board, though that may not be rigid enough for good result.

I'm only passing along what I've read, that @Green Kiwi (?) and others had to modify the base to get the adapter to fit. I think it has to do with the 2 inclined ramps that engage into Mighty/Crafty housing, they need to be shaved a little.
I guess yours is fitting okay?

Ok I gotta say this thing is awesome. I'm ripped. I've been very unscientifical. I haven't checked the timeoff timer, not did I count how many bowls I used with it (over the course of a few days). My battery is now blinking. I'll go home and charge it today.

It really is amazing.

That's what I thought, that they were supposed to notify when they received it. But I messaged them Tuesday when they received it and they messaged me back saying "once it has been received you'll be contacted within 5-7 business days". However this conflicts with your experience as well as what I was originially told... i don't want to be a pest but I'm probably gonna message them again just to make sure tjey have it.
